481  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Gray Fox - Version 0.3XX out- Fastest. Update. Ever. on: October 31, 2010, 02:36:51 PM
Ok, we good. I fixed the error. It just started working again yay!

I'll be happy to get Dop-Mii and fix up all my glitches, since everything that has to do with Luigi's Mansion always freezes. Subspace Emissary freezes after the first minute of playing it, and the cutscenes freeze too when trying to view them. Regular Brawl rarely freezes, and the Smash Ball item never spawns. Weird huh.

Ok, so you updated Gray Fox with the A button loop rest? I'll go test it.
482  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Gray Fox - Version 0.3XX out- Fastest. Update. Ever. on: October 31, 2010, 11:54:14 AM
Stage shouldn't matter unless you have stage modifing codes.

Please do it on Hyrule Temple for me.

4.2, but I have all the cracks and such that 3.3.1 had, which is needed to dump my discs.

If you look around the net, you can have 4.2 with the benefits of 3.2, as such there is no purpose in downgrading anymore.

Ok, I'm fixing that error as we speak. I'll test Fox on Hyrule Temple and see the result. So, I can have benefits of 3.2, huh. Can you link me to that article?
483  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Gray Fox - Version 0.3XX out- Fastest. Update. Ever. on: October 31, 2010, 10:19:05 AM
I just put a loop rest on the GFX part of the jab.

I held A against a Metal D3 on a wall in Temple for 5 minutes and no freezing.

Please test it like I did. If it does freeze, it's because the GFX for the jab has no loop rest.

The C4 issue was known and is related to the extra bones, like what happens when Sonic does homing attack on one of the extra bones.

Might I mention the stage I was using was Shadow Moses Island (Sorry, I haven't had time to download your stage) and it was against one of the walls. The wall was beng damaged at the same time.

Another thing I should say is that my Wii version is 4.2U. I'm working on downgrading my Wii to 3.2U. This may be the key reason why I get random freezing and Exception DSI occured messages. Might I ask you Yoshi, what is your Wii version?

I'm getting DSI Occured messages because of the crash. Still working on fixing this.

Hmm how hard would an actual clothes (as in MGS3 camos and not David's tight ass *shudders* suit) vertex edit for snake be?

Go download my pack I made so his ass is no longer revealed to you any longer.
That was the groadiest thing I heard on this thread.

Yes, hopefully those vertex edits are possible.

AGFan send me his Wireframes, and told me that he needs major work done on them.

My Paint.net can make the textures transparent/glasslike Cheesy
Get ready for me to post a download link.

The New and Awesome Gray Fox Glitches:

(1) If you trap an opponent against a wall and use the A button constantly for about 30 seconds or more the game will freeze. (Not sure if this happens to other people)

(2) If Snake sticks a C4 to Gray Fox, his polygons will stretch to the center of the stage, this will not always happen, but it usually does. His hurtbox won't stretch though with the polygons.

Your right, I am eager, because this is awesome Cheesy
No need to rush, I got work too from school ya know.

But since I got a piece of his face, I just HAD to see if it fits over the model.

Cool, I'll port that texture over a Snake model and test it. I'll post BrawlBox previews here.

Edit:

So, are ALL the textures you ripped blueish? Mind sending me the box textures if the palette is good? I could use those most certainly for coolio stuff.
489  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / General Hacking Discussion / Re: Metal Gear Solid Needs More Hack Representation! on: October 29, 2010, 10:03:32 PM
Good news:
I got Snake's textures!

Bad news:
He's joined the blue man group.

I've got the textures for Snake, but not the appropriate pallete.
I'm so close. I feel as sad as Snake looks...

You mean Big Boss' textures Tongue
Wow, what a bummer. But those couldn't be the right ones, you know. I remember you sending me the MGS:TTS item textures and a few of them were blue, so don't worry, you just got the wrong version.

Irishladdie, could you take the SAME model and shorten the headband to his neck? It looks weird being so long and all.

Also, how is Sniper Wolf going? Any progress?
491  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / General Hacking Discussion / Re: Metal Gear Solid Needs More Hack Representation! on: October 28, 2010, 01:03:52 PM
Hey xxTerminatorxx, I've been trying out the lastest version of the MGS:TTS Snake a bit more.
After a while, I noticed something looked odd. Doesn't Snake's neck look elongated?
It doesn't show from a downwards angle, but in views such as the second picture you can see a noticable length between the start of his neck and the top of his collarbone. The vertex hack of his collar might be improvable in my opinion.

Yeah, I agree. I'll get somone to work on it soon. Other than that I think the texture is quite good.

494  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / General Hacking Discussion / Re: ItmCommonParam Swapping? on: October 24, 2010, 10:56:42 AM
Guard Slayer Snake....

My broken moveset which will include param files to put in common3.pac via Brawlbox.

ItmParam.pac is empty, almost as if it's a template for something....

You need OpenSA2 to edit these item files.

Ok, I'll edit myself stronger grenades. So you need to use Tabuu, huh?
495  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / General Hacking Discussion / Re: ItmCommonParam Swapping? on: October 24, 2010, 12:03:39 AM
I'm trying to figure out how to edit Item size and where the info is held. I want to make Snake's grenades (Since they are so oversized) the size of the Deku Nut.

Strangely enough, when I model swapped the Deku Nut with Snake's grenades, the grenade became the Deku Nut size. Check it out on my vault.
