Afgan sent his Snake to somone, then that somone posted the Snake in a thread. I downoaded that Snake, fixed the face and eye textures (Since they were poorly done) and a few other things.
I'm not going to lie here, I had no idea what ItmCommonParam meant.. I thought it was some useless stuff and I did come across the idea is held the attributes of an item.
This means somone could make Snake's SOCOM pistol over Mr. Saturn!
.....Do you use photoshop? If so, saving textures as a png is the best way to preserve transparency. The magenta = transparent days are long gone.
I managed to add more snow falling to OLD SMI.
I use paint.net. Thanks for asking, though. Transparency has never been a problem for me. I still want to know what that strange writing is...
Also, once I get the MGS:TTS model, you can use that model itself for your MGS4 Shadow Moses Island. It's alot more accurate than Brawl Shadow Moses Island. Also, the TTS model has the cargo truck, elevator, accurate towers, etc. So I guess you can say it is larger than the Brawl model.
If your going for MGS4 Shadow Moses Island I would use TTS model instead. Not to mention, the model comes with it's textures too.
I'll make the unzipped version of her coat, then make the white coat version.
As you know, I sent Irishladdie everything so he can help vertex the hair and all those goodies to make her more MGS like. He hasn't replied in a while, I guess Life is gitting in the way lol.
Yeah, I thought users would like the version I am working on now. If it goes good, I'll make one in her white zipped up coat.
To clarify, will an attempt be made to recreate Sniper Wolf's first suit unlike the customised version you are working on? It would be a shame if it weren't...
Getting model rips of characters from MGS:TTS is much harder, considering they can't be converted with Solidus and a screengrab almost always doesn't include them. Hey, I'll try though.
Listen to how I made the version I have now. I took the one on the vault and added custom leg textures, fixed face, and gave her the Sniper Rifle model. So, I still need to recolor the body. I'm gonna have it be as accurate as TTS version.
The white coat version I mean is this:

Oh, wow. That was the answer I have been waiting for forever. I asked Eternal Yoshi how to rip textures and he told me to use Solidus. It failed.
xxTerminatorxx, I'm guessing Sniper Wolf's top looks like it does because it's still in development? Just for reference, here is a picture of Sniper Wolf in her first suit: http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/1844/csknipatu1.jpg (You should put the FOXHOUND logo on her other arm, btw.)
I already put the FOXHOUND logo on her other arm. If you put it on one arm, it appears on the other. Strange, eh?

I sent Irishladdie her textures, including hair, and of course, my texture hack. He says he can vertex her hair and her face to resemble Sniper Wolf's. Friedslick, could you send him her model so he can model after it? He says the process on the face and hair would be alot easier.
The new Shell (With flag, birds, bombs, and cyphers) bridge will be over Shadow Moses Island, right? Hopefully. Anyways, I hope the Cyphers can spot you and such.
Have you abandoned MGS4 SMI? When I get MGSTTS model and textures, I could port that over some other stage, and you could make your MGS4 SMI out of that.
So, will that stage include EVERYTHING? Including the Flag, bombs, and cyphers, seaguls and a few other details? So your just going to rip the model, right?
Looks good so far. You need to morph the face into Sniper Wolf's and add the lipstick.
Already added Lipstick, you can hardly see it in the pic, I should make it more greenish. I wanted to port Wolf's face over ZSS', but it didn't come out so good. All I did was port the lipstick since it is a very large detail of Sniper Wolf. I'll be happy to improve it later.
Sniper Wolf: My name is Sniper Wolf, and I always kill what I aim at. Solid Snake: A lady sniper, huh? ------------------------ Sniper Wolf: Do you want to die now? Or after your female friend? Which will it be? Solid Snake: I'll die, after I kill you.
Credit to Friedslick for the textures from MGS:TTS. I still need to fix a few textures, but overal it is good. I'll put it up for download as soon as I can once I am finished. No, that's not your eyes playing tricks on you, she actually has a Sniper Rifle!
Thanks to Friedslick's Sniper Rifle textures he sent to me long ago, I can use them for the Sniper Rifle model! I'll make a PSA later that allows her Sniper Rifle to be aimable, and I will add the infamous laser pointer.
Iv'e seen MGS4 cutscenes and they are very long, but I have to say, they are very good. It is like a 9 hour movie, I mean, at least 80% of the game is cutscenes. You could almost take all of them and put them on a CD and watch it as a movie, for 9 hours or so, doubting the disc could hold that much.
I hear gameplay was very good, and the story WAS confusing but fantastic. Yoshi is right; all the MGS games brought up questions: which is why MGS4 is so good. It tells the real story.
If you haven't played MGS3, you really need to. I haven't played MGS4, but I've played through the other 3 multiple times, and MGS3 is easily my favorite story and gameplay wise. There are just so many little details to the gameplay, and the story manages to be sort of profound without being overwrought and crazy like MGS2's. It's probably my favorite game of all time, I really wish I hadn't broken my PS2. You can get Subsistence for like ten bucks at most Gamestops. No excuse, you're one of the biggest contributors to this thread.
Thank you for the compliment... It makes me feel good to know I am making a difference.
Sadly, I only own one system that supports a Metal Gear game. It's a Gamecube. It's the Twin Snakes. But that's not gonna be the last Metal Gear game I get, I'm getting a PS3 and MGS4 for Christmas. My Dad tells me the chance of that is 100%. I can't wait.
I watched some MGS3 clips on Youtube, and they are, very good. In your opinion, I see that MGS3 Substance for PS2 is what you would prefer over MGS4. If I was going to get a PS2, I would get Substance and Sons of Liberty. But maybe next year if not this year, since my parents won't get me a PS3 AND a PS2.
Aha! Nice ideas. I don't know much about MGS3, I'm more into Solid Snake. Though I do have an extensive knowledge of both Big Boss and Solid Snake. If anyone wants too, they could use the boneless models as trophies.
