i have the MSVCR71.dll in my systemWOW64 folder but every time i load up das donkey it says "the main startup class could not be found"

is that window 7??
I use XP so I wouldn't know...

do you agree with me:

I'm working on an mdl0 vert import/export script for blender...

use the DDVB method (import the ddf) and export to a file...
(the filename is not spec (I use ddv))

the vert import script is complete
the vert export script is about 80%

I'll post the scripts when I finish the export script...
(so I can post them in a pack)

i cud probably do this but itd take awhile for me to find the animations and models to replace i got an idea on how to do it.

same here with the way I was thinking...

but he's talking about just simply remaking the char_bust_tex images
(putting the names on them)

that would prbly work...
with the way I'm thinking...
you'd pretty much have to redo that part of the menu...

Just an fyi, trophy models have no bones, so they're useless for getting playable models, and the ef_(name).pac is just some data for effects, not the actual character.

actually...
I was corrected on that...

I think it was baby mario that has 21 bones...
but I rmbr looking at it, and seeing all the bones linked at the center...
similar to a shadow model (for the characters)

if you import to brawlbox, you shouldn't have to worry about the pallet

EDIT:
sratch that...
I use paint shop pro 7 to deal with pallets

just decrease the color depth to 256...
set the transparent color (if any)
and save as a gif and replace the texture in brawlbox

that's about the only time I worry about the pallet...

I usually just save as a png and let brawlbox do the work of creating the pallet
(not the best quality... but eh... it works)

I'm trying to work on a way to do this as well...
(just so you don't see Pachirisu with a subcaption of Pikachu)
but I highly doubt it'll work (my current idea on how to do this)

tabuu's model (with animations) is in:
game directory: ...\RSBE\stage\adventure\920801.pac

when you open up Brawlbox, you'll find the model in '920801_1'
920801_2 is the stage

but that's just where the model is...
just ignore this if you already have it
