1  Super Smash Bros. 4 Hacking / Smash 4 (Wii U) Hacking / Re: [Guide]Taking the First Steps - Welcome to WiiU Mods on: June 03, 2016, 01:21:59 PM
To make sure I understand correctly...you cannot have both a hacked Wii U and maintain Youtube, correct?

Assuming as this blocks out everything...or is there a way to be able to maintain both?

From what I can understand, you can't show any signs of hacking at Miiverse.  You can still upload YouTube videos, but you don't want to make Miiverse posts that showcase the hacks, as that could get you banned.

Damn. Now there's a familiar name.
Well, you can share you hacks on GameBanana.

Yeah my interests in Brawl hacking really died off, so my activity here also became very small.  But after I started checking out Smash Wii U hacking, I wanted to see where this place stood in regards to it.

Anyway, I did check out GameBanana, but some users at GBAtemp.net stated that it wasn't a good place, so I also checked the new sm4shmods.com website, but it doesn't have that much to offer right now.

Basically, the only brick wall keeping me from sharing any hacks that I make is a reliable hosting site.

I haven't been around here for months, but I have recently jumped onto the Smash Wii U hacking bandwagon myself.

I've first managed to dump my Smash Wii U ISO, and then I used the proper tools to compose my first texture hack for the game.

It's a shame that there aren't a lot of places to talk about Smash Wii U hacking.
4  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: FQ's PSA Place: Rosalina & Luma on: July 31, 2014, 07:13:26 AM
I should be set to send you the updated animations later today, or tomorrow.

On a side note, I did spot another issue with the model, but this time, regarding the hair.  Some of the hair vertices are not in-sync with the head vertices, and as such, you'll notice a hole in the back of Rosalina's head.  This issue may want to be taken care of as well.

Well this rig is a copy of the Mario Galaxy rig. So that's on Nintendo Tongue Luckily I've been re-rigging, so it should be better.

Just keep in mind that when I give you the updated model and animations, there will be a material addition that will be needed for the .srt0 animations to operate properly.

Anyway, best of luck with fixing up the legs, because I'm just not liking how the feet look with certain animations right now.

I've made a good amount of progress with the .srt0 and .pat0 additions.  However, the animation modifications to the eyebrows have been interfering with my modifications.  I also had to make some material edits, so that I could properly modify the eye iris positions.

On a side note, there are still a large amount of animations that still need to be made, so I'll just make the animation additions for the animations that have been covered already.

I should probably point out as well that the way that the feet are rigged can result in some very ugly-looking foot postures.

I could always help you implement the .srt0 and .pat0 animations.  However, this does mean that I'll need the model and MotionEtc file to make the additions accurate.
8  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: FQ's PSA Place: Rosalina & Luma on: July 29, 2014, 07:05:18 PM
To make the eye irises move, you simply need to create a new texture animation, and give it the same name as the model animation itself.

This also applies to making new .pat0 files, which are used for the eye lid texture parts.  It would only be right if Rosalina is seen blinking after all.

Just make sure that the .srt0 and .pat0 archives are using the exact same amount of animation frames as the .chr0 archive that they're used alongside.

This project appears to be quite a promising one.  Good luck completing it.

On a side note, you might want to consider making Rosalina's eye pupils move for certain animations.

I agree. Just laziness. For the model for my PSA her mouth is rigged so I can animate it in moves like her up special where she smiles.
... Yeah, it is shameful, and lazy, and it bugged you all. But none of you told me a thing about it.

Rosalina's mouth was originally rigged (I know because I did rig and vertex her mouth a lot until it looked like it animated better in BrawlBox), but it seems it lost the mouth rig somewhere in the several re-touch ups that followed pre-release so it skipped my mind to re-check the mouth. Did you 3 consider this might have been what had happened...? No, you did not.

Thank you for discrediting my work on Rosalina. Guess now you'll just have to get someone else to make a better one.

To be fair, there were more rig mistakes that just the mouth.  I did bring the issues up several months ago, but they apparently fell on deaf ears.  At least the shoulders were fixed up.

Rigged fingers and hair and planned rigged mouth, all the yes. lol It bugs me when Peach hacks just don't have a rigged mouth (unless it's a low poly model then I understand) and rigged hair since it's affected by wind and such, it just seems out of place to not be moving.

The Rosalina model import doesn't have a rigged mouth at all, which is quite shameful.

Well Zero Suit Peach is having a few problems, so I decided to make a Rosalina that suited my taste. But when in-game..

that happens. Any ideas on how to fix her?

Very cute, though I'm sorry to hear that it isn't working correctly right now.

He was Michael Bay-alized. Have you not seen the trailers for the new upcoming movie?

Maybe not the trailers, but I did notice some posters for the upcoming movie at a shopping mall.

Hmm, should I keep these specs?

What happened to you Leo?

Someone flagged one of my very old hacks, and it doesn't seem like there's a valid reason for the flag.
