1  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Donkey Kong freezes on Riivolution. on: November 12, 2012, 03:09:00 PM
I did, but it still screwed up and annoying beep/freeze. However, I copied the contents of my card, formatted the card, and then copied it all back, and now it seems to be working fine. :l

Well, there's still the occasional freeze after matches (without that annoying beep), but it happens.

I think mine was closed when I did it... I don't know, I'll try it again and see if it fixes it. Thank you for your help. Cheesy I'll let you know if it works.

Edit: Okay, so I did that, and now it freezes with Ganondorf. :l .brsar, why do you fail me...

Hm, that's something I didn't try. I'll do that.

...

Yeah, it doesn't freeze, now... Great. Does that mean I can't use the .brsar without it freezing? Why does it freeze only when Donkey Kong takes damage? I didn't change anything with DK.
4  Help & Tutorials / Help / Donkey Kong freezes on Riivolution. on: November 10, 2012, 10:33:55 PM
I just took the time to make a sawnd file replacing all the voices for a character to use on Riivolution and it's also ported over a character I don't use. Whooo!
...
But then it came to my attention, now that I am using Riivolution, Donkey Kong ALWAYS freezes the game when he gets hit, if not before he gets hit. I tried removing a bunch of codes, characters, and it still kept freezing, but then I tried it on Gecko and there was no problem. So, he only freezes on Riivolution. Is this any kind of common issue? I just started using Riivolution with BeyonYou's "Riivolution for Gecko Users." Everything works great, but Donkey Kong screws things up. -.-

Your PSAs are amazing as always. :)

The way she shoots and moves in the video kind of reminds me of the egirl with two pistols form Blazblue...can't remember her name. You should definitely do Dante, next, though. :D
6  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Question! I want to repair my hacked menu 4.2 Wii. on: February 25, 2011, 09:38:32 PM
Thanks for the info and suggestions. Smiley If anybody has any additional info or anything, I'd appreciate it. Smiley

So, it sounds what I should do is (because I don't care if I keep hacks, or not) just update it 4.3 and send it in, and if they return it unrepaired, then just use a USB loader. So, any cautions as to doing this?

Maybe. I think, if I do send it in, all they will do is just send it back without repairing it, right? If that happens, well then I might as well try USB loader.

Well, I don't know anything regarding the usb loader, I'm not really interested in it. Bricking my Wii sounds a bit risky and more trouble than what its worth.
9  Help & Tutorials / Help / Question! I want to repair my hacked menu 4.2 Wii. on: February 25, 2011, 03:24:15 PM
So, my Wii doesn't read disks. It stopped reading Wii disks sometime when I was playing Brawl. Only Wii games wouldn't work. I was also told that it messing up might be something related to Brawl. I'd like to know what that's about.

I was informed from other hackers that the laser disk drive or something needed to be replaced. I was wondering what would happen if I sent it to Nintendo. Again, I was informed by hackers that one of two things would happen.

1) They would format it and update it to 4.3, eliminating my hacks.
2) They would send it back unrepaired and tell me to get a new one.

Nobody said anything about legal issues and pressing charges?

Anyway, I'd like any feedback from that being said. Should I send it in?

Another question: I've heard updating to 4.3 removes the hacks. So...if I were to update to 4.3 and send it in, would that remove traces of hacks, preventing them from saying "we will not repair a hacked Wii. Buy a new one?"

Oh, and my hacks being removed is NOT an issue for me. I expect them to be gone and I will not hack it again. I use my hacks on somebody else's hacked Wii.

Well, I usually play with other friends, so they complain if I get ones that are too unbalanced and flashy and such. The hacks are more for them than they are for me. I actually prefer not to use PSA's. More fair that way. However, if I could get someone to make me an Amy PSA I have in mind for Peach, then that'd probably be the only character I'd use.  Grin

Hmm, this PSA looks very interesting and very well done. :) However, it looks a bit unbalanced and a bit too flashy for me, so I probably won't try it out. Tempting, though. ;)

You mean that it's on hold? Yeah, I saw that. I also read all the major problems with it and watched the video...that was rather funny. XD

Still, though, there's some progress with it, maybe it will be finished sometime. :)
