Wario has random speed up's during certain animations in-game for some reason. So I'm sure they'll look pretty much flawless in-game.

The Luminoth were said to be "born of the stars."

Implying that they had no home planet at all. Or something.

My guess would be that they just wandered around the universe until they stumbled upon Aether.

Speaking of Luminoth...

U-Mos would be a pretty good vertex as well.
U-Mos would probably be easiest on Sheik too. Her "bangs" never require patching, so you could just use them to make the feathery antennae really easily.
But his legs are in the same formation as Lucario's though, so he might be a better base.

I think I'll just add him to my list anyway.

As long as he isn't turned sideways and crabwalking as he is in Brawl it should be fine. Once again...I have NO idea where Sakurai gets his animation ideas from.

Good point about Samus being asymetrical. The Zebesian pirate will work perfectly with Shiek with the flipping and wall grabbing. With all of these Cloud and Sonic character ports, someone really needs to port Samus because I'm running out of slots that I'm willing to replace!

I think the Chozo made Zebes their homeworld and then spread to other planets like Tallon IV, Elysia, and whatever the other planet was that was mentioned in that pirate observatory place in Phendrana (I THINK.)... or maybe they were referring to Zebes... I forget. I really need to play all 100% through the trilogy again to refresh my memory.  Mario Facepalm

I'm sure Aether will get in here in a minute and tell us where the Chozo came from.

There aren't enough Sonic/FF7/Anime characters on Samus to dictate the need for porting I suppose *sarcasm*

I never got the Trilogy because I heard that Prime 2 got so many new glitches that it was nearly impossible to play through it, and that they had severely butchered the graphics in Prime 1 and 2 so they look more like Prime3. I already have all 3 of them anyway, so it didn't bother me too much.

If I recall correctly, he only has one walking speed in the actual games. One would just need to add/lower frames to differentiate walk and run.

We've looked through everyone's walk animations and no one really walks like that lol. Arms to the sides barely moving, taking long strides. Fox and Luigi's are similar, but still very different.

Your Deathborn and Kanden textures would be nice bases for full vertexed projects.

MP2's pirates would be best on Samus and that's how I'm going to attempt it. Their arms are asymmetrical, and Samus is one of the only characters with asymmetrical arms by default (one is a sword thing and other is the pincer with a gun attached). I won't be doing any test runs for it until I finish the Fusion/Other M Zebesian Pirate on Sheik.

Chozo's and Zebesian pirates looking like birds might not be a coincidence. I would assume that they would be the related species. All of the modern designs for Zebesian pirates have them looking more and more bird-like. The only main different between them now is the pincers. Only problem with that theory is that I can't remember if Chozo were supposed to have evolved on Zebes or just came to live there.

I'm making the Zebesian Pirate on sheik because of her agility mostly. The old space pirates jump around a lot so I thought Sheik would fit them a little better, plus Falco/Fox would be a lot shorter than a space pirate. If there is a wavy/zigzag graphic effect around, I might add that to Sheik's needles so it looks like it's shooting the lasers.

I could probably use this Pirate as a base for a chozo later. Right now it looks more like a Chozo anyway lol.

Check normal brawl and see if the freeze is occurring there as well. It could just be a problem with your disc (assuming that you are using a disc).

Otherwise:

If you added any new codes, remove them and try again.

If you edited either of your common.pac's, replace them and try it again.

^ This.  Although I think it should be like how Cape Mario's Ground Pound works.  It should only stun foes on the ground if you do it from a high height.  This wouldn't be too hard to do.  If you guys needed help with something like this, I could easily do it Wink
Sure. Go ahead and make a pound similar to that for Wario's downB on a fresh pac if you'd like. Aether and I have never been able to get B moves to work out right.

You need to enlarge his arms in his neutral A attack.

Back Air-  Use Snake's back air as a base, but make him turned the otherway, so his fists are hitting the opponent. Enlarged arms.

Up air- an uppercut like the one you have on his normal upA. Huge fist.

Down Air- reverse corkscrew? Using the same graphic effects as the normal Corkscrew.
