Using Anim8or under Vista
Theoretically Anim8or should work under the Vista operating system without any problem.  However the OS and graphics drivers have a lot of new things to do to make this happen with the added complexity of Vista's new compositing desktop.  There are several things you can do if you experience problems with this.

1.  Unfortunately there are a lot of problems in many drivers.  This is especially true for Inter grpahics chips but can happen with other manufacturers.  If it's not working for you, the first thing to do is see if there is a newer driver for your graphics card.  Quite a few people have reported that a newer driver has fixed their Vista problems.

2. Another thing you can try is running Anim8or in WinXP compatible mode.  Right-click on anim8or.exe in the file manager and select XP Compatible mode in the menu that pops up.  This causes Vista to run Anim8or in a mode that is more like Windows XP which more drivers can handle.

3. You can also try running Anim8or as Administrator.  The O.S. permission settings may not allow Anim8or to run with the default user settings.

You can't move parts from one character to another. It just doesn't work. To my knowledge, there is no way to do something like that.

You can only move pieces like that between different vertexed versions of the same character. For example you could take Cloud's body and move it piece by piece onto a normal Ike, ending up with a Cloud with Ike's head.

There is no model of Nidoking from any game, so your only option would be a fan-made model from a 3d modeling program.

Someone in Aafyre's thread said they were making a vertex of him on Bowser. Not sure if they actually started or not though.
I attempted one on Bowser a while ago but it wouldn't patch out correctly so I gave up pretty early on.
Nidoking is my favorite Pokemon so it's that much worse :/

Kadabra has been released.






His head has been moved from Lucario's default position, but his eyes have not. Meaning they are sunk into his head a bit and when viewed from straight on there is a see-through glitchy spot to the side of the eyes where you are actually seeing into his skull. However during gameplay this isn't completely unnoticeable, so I think it will be fine to release it as-is. Whatever Adfro did to set it to only use one head apparently rendered it unusable with AIS. It won't give me a dae no matter how I go about it, so I can't really vertex it further without making the changes on a blank Lucario and moving them one at a time onto the Kadabra model. This would take me a few hours so I don't know if I'll ever get around  to it. I'm satisfied with the current model either way, so it won't matter to me if I never get it fixed.
The texture is also a bit rough. If anyone wants to touch it up, go ahead and do so and get me the download link so I can update the download and give you credit.

With Christmas over now, I should have time to start back working on these soon.

Expect Kadabra to be released within the next week or so, along with Sableye shortly afterwards.
I'm bored with the current projects and I'm really wanting to get started on other things. Should I let the poll continue for a while or go on and declare Aggron the winner? No one has voted a week or so, so I assume that all those concerned have already placed their votes.

It should end up quite a bit better than mine if you use his actual eyes. I ended up covering up his eyes so badly that I couldn't find the vertices early in development. The only thing I could move down there to be his eyes was a piece of his hair.

Thanks I'll ask permission to use that as a base. I just spent about 2 hours patching to remove the wings and refused to fix. I was able to get his fangs/tusks things perfect, so it will work great.

Ohno it's GameWatching. I was somewhat involved in an incident involving him a while ago. I hope he doesn't hold a grudge. I'll pm him.

I'll attempt the spoon on kadabra as well.

I'm going to try to finish up Kadabra's model today, because I won't be able to do anything for the next couple of days. I'll post comparative previews once I'm finished. I plan to change the shape of his chest a bit and enlarge the tail mostly.

Also, should I add the spikes back in and make one of them into a spoon? I don't really see it as necessary, but if the community wants it I'll attempt it.

Thinking about Ononokusu over Charizard. Shouldn't be too problematic once  I get rid of the wings.

another problem anout sableye, are his pants... thats why toon link wouldve worked better...
anyway, from some angles u can CLEARLY see his pants....................... and thats WEIRD!!!xD
Ya I'm going to pull them one vertice at a time all the way up to his belt line then push them inside of him. I don't think they have a specific bone for them, so that should get rid of them for good.

Got a chance to test Sableye and Kadabra in-game.

Sableye:


Looks good during gameplay, but if you zoom in, it's horrifying. His nose and mouth are still visible, despite me vertexing them away to the best of my ability. I don't know if I can get rid of these or not.
His shorts also STILL appear during certain animations. I'm going to bring them all the way up to his belt line, every single shorts vertice, if that doesn't work, then I don't know what to do with it.
Forgot to remove backpack straps, so they are still visible in the screenshots

Kadabra:


Looks amazing during gameplay. A few problems are noticeable if you zoom-in.
Needs a few new animations because his arms go through his chest/shoulders.
Thank you for fixing his heads Adfroman. The disappearing thing looks great. It looks intentional, so it's fine. It's as though he's teleports right before being hit, as to avoid damage.
He disappears during Downaerial, being hit animations, and sometimes during the release of a fully charged neutral B.

The pose doesn't really show off any of the changed features, but I was in a hurry :/

Still needs:
-MUCH larger tail.
-Vertice cleanup on chest and torso
-ATTEMPT to fix ears again. I don't expect it to work this time either, but I will try.
-Eyes need to come forward a bit, they are slightly sunken in his head right now
-Some animation tweaking (his arms go through his shoulder pads during certain animations.
-Minor texture tweaking
-Lastly, needs in-game testing to check for glitches
