1  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Brawlbox compatible Scott Pilgrim on: April 05, 2014, 09:35:10 AM
So I decided to re-code scott pilgrim over Lucas to work with Brawlbox 68b's moveset editor. Normally it just crashes if you try to save anything and I kinda wanna be able to see hitboxes and whatnot as I balance this guy for my B+ pack. I figure I'm probably not the only person interested in tweaking his moveset and fixing those god awful hurtboxes on him.

I literally just copy pasted most of it but I did make a few balance tweaks and fixed his hurtboxes. I also didn't copy over the old scotts attributes, so if you want those you will have to do them yourself but here it is; a BrawlBox 68b compatible scott pilgrim PSA file to use with the scott pilgrim PSA pack.

Released v0.9 of Rock Lee.
Currently the only things that are missing are:
-Final Smash
-Sounds
-CSP

If you guys want this finished sooner and can help, i need:
- a better rock lee rig over ike
- rock lee sfx pack (English), almost any english CON game will probably have all the sounds I need.




Current Moveset:

AAA combo - his Y kick combo from battle D.O.N.
Dash Attack - Dynamic... Entry...

up-tilt - start kick for primary lotus
over-tilt - kicks
down-tilit - leaf whirlwind

up-smash - double kick into the air, cancellable near the end
over-smash - wataaaaahhhhhhhhh punch from CON
down-smash - ground stomp combo starter from CON

up-air - leaf rising wind-esque kick, finisher
f-air - aerial attack from CON, also GET DUNKED
b-air - 2 backward kicks, links basically except first kick does less damage but is cancellable
down-air - aerial kick downward from CON, think similar to sonics except slower and more damaging

up-special - leaf rising wind
over-special - leaf hurricane
down-special-air - zoom to ground, no landing lag
down-special-ground - chakra burst/open the gates

up-throw - primary lotus
f-throw - kick
b-throw - kick
down-throw - dash attack from CON, punch TO THE GROUND

 




Changes to be made:
(/ in front for done)

- fix over-special super slide glitch
- Sound effects
- Kirby hat
- Fix BB animation issue to include final smash that is already done
- better rock lee rig
- stage?... that doesn't suck.
- CSP

Note: Ikes bones are not modified at all so any Ike model should work on this. Just delete the sword polygon and if there are any texture issues in-game just make sure they're cmpr textures to fix it.

It's a shame they don't have a commenting system for brawlvault submissions so I'm just going to post this in case I decide that I want to show the community more of my beautiful and totally well made stages that don't suck whatsoever and have perfect animations. <3

From the tops of getamped 2's bball court comes the rooftop. Fortunately some RespectableAfricanAmericans were hanging out at the time I imported it and so they're here to stay! And for those of you who don't know what getamped 2 is, look it up, play it, hate it and never play that 3D MMO fighting game that you can stretch out polygons to be whatever fighter you want and constantly have new weapons added to your arsenal but never have your previous ones balanced and constantly deal with BR's who do nothing but spam with the cheaper weapons ever again.
Also, if you see the RespectableAfricanAmerican patrol while playing, know that you have probably already lost and try not to get too mad <3

Also, if anyone knows how to make the grates and fences to be see-through where there's black that would be lovely to know and I'd really appreciate the info. As well as that if anyone has information on how to randomize looped animations (I.E. one animation loops and has a random chance that at the end of a loop will play a different animation once) that would also be great to know.

If this gets enough attention I may even do a few more.
4  Help & Tutorials / Help / Removing Water Stage Collisions on: August 20, 2011, 05:38:53 PM
Okay well I looked all over the place and even after searching through many stage hacking tutorials, there's nothing on how to mess with or get rid of swimmable water. So I was hoping that somebody could explain to me how to edit this. It makes game play terrible and I want to remove it from so many otherwise wonderful stages. Any help would be much appreciated.

Okay well I released a beta just like I said I would. It has a TON more to be done and I still couldn't get the specials, grabs, and the smashes working properly. I'm gonna refocus on Klonoa for a bit and come back to this because currently I don't have the knowledge to do much more than this. Without help I can't do any more for this project so I'll just make changes and work on it when I learn enough to change it. Till then don't expect too many updates but I most certainly will still be trying.

So after requesting an amazing vertex from my good pal Starwaffle and learning a decent amount from my time in Project Klonoa I've decided that this needed to be done.

Note: Olimar is awesome, I'm not replacing him for any other reason then for the pikmin and the vertex. Anyone who disses him will get da spooboot >=3 Or at least ignored...








Moveset: (Animation status)

Up-Special (FINISHED) - Bomberman places a bomb below him and uses its explosion to propel himself upward (As seen in SSBC)

Neutral-special - Bomberman kicks a bomb forward

Side-Special - I'm debating whether he'll throw a bomb in an arc or set 6 bombs in a row in front of him

Down-special - Set a remote bomb kind of like snakes

[Size="3"][Color="Red"]Smashes[/color][/size]

Down-Smash - Bomberman smashes a bomb against the ground making an explosion

Over-Smash (Finished) - Bomberman spins forward with his elbow out and then stops and explodes a bomb in front of him (Similar to wolfs but slower, with most power only at the end and moves him farther.)

Up-Smash (Finished) - Throws a bomb upward (Similar to snakes except less gay =D)

[Size="3"][Color="Red"]Aerials[/color][/size]

Forward air (Finished) - sprawls out and thrusts a bomb in front of himself, pushing him back slightly.

Back air (FINISHED) - Kicks bomb backward, explodes at end of kick, boosts forward.

Neutral air (Finished) - Bomberman does a summersault in the air doing a grind attack and at the end he throws out a bunch of mini bombs all around for a small series of explosions. (It'll have a really small hitbox on both parts of the attack.)

Down air (Finished) - Bomberman quickly thrusts a bomb below him causing for a single frame spike with significant lag afterward. Also suspends him in mid-air like ivysaurs.

Down tilt (FINISHED) - Bomberman makes a controlled bomb explosion on the ground in front of him. Similiar to Samus'

Over tilt (FINISHED) - Bomberman swings two mini bombs in front of him in a 1-2 combo making them explode in his hands as they reach out to their farthest.

Up tilt (Finished) - Bomberman explodes a bomb just above him and slightly forward.

[Size="3"][Color="Red"]Other[/color][/size]

Dash attack (FINISHED) - Bomberman slides forward while laying a bomb down (bomberman has small hitbox that hits toward bomb while bomb explodes)

AA combo (FINISHED) - Punch, Punch, grab, fist explosion

Taunt 1 (Finished) - Fist pump!

Win1 (Finished) - Strikes a cool pose with bomb in hand, thrusts forward

[Size="5"][Color="Green"]Glitches[/color][/size]

- If Bomberman uses his up-special right after falling of a ledge, he'll grab onto it but the bomb will stay attached as his hand.

- (INTERESTING) If Bomberman spawns a bomb in the air and keeps himself from touching the ground, the bomb will actually run forward until bomberman lands which it will then stop and explode. (Could actually be used for something if we can find out why it does that.)
