You should actually credit him for the texture, because many of its elements are extremely similar.

I actually made it from with many things from his original texture.

So give him credit, he deserves it for his hard work!

awesome..!!!!!!!

but i don't like her weird hairniss... maybe you could vertex out her crown, and take the jewels, make them her "meat balls" and then make the hair much much more professional when it comes to her pigtails.

Sorry!

 Embarrassed

It was one of my first vertex hacks, and I was still learning.

I'll revamp it when I have the time.

Yeah, I know her dress can be transparent.

But what I meant was that I needed the left side of her dress to not be there, but keep the right.

I don't know if that really makes sense or not since it's kind of difficult to explain.

But I have a general idea to fix my problem now so I'm good!

Thanks, for both of the answers.

I'm editing Zelda's dress and I put half of her dress vertices in one area. It works for the most part, but whenever she moves, the side I edited grows back and still moves with her then goes back to being small.

Probably because it's still attached to a bone.

 :'(

I'll just edit the bones in Brawlbox to make them not move then.

Is there a way to remove parts of polygons?

I know I could just vertex them to be as small as possible, but that still leaves something visible.

Why don't you just use my Sailor Moon Vertex/Texture Hack for the screenshots?
7  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Problem starting DasDonkey Vertex Box on: September 17, 2010, 06:17:05 PM
Yes, you actually have to download 3ds Max.

DasDonkey 1.0 merely makes the file, while it's in 3ds that you actually do the editing.

This'll probably help you.

This is how I got my start.

You don't have to do the part with Anim8or.
9  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Ganon & Capt. Falcon Side-B's? on: August 14, 2010, 09:48:09 PM
Basically, in any action tab relating to Side-B, if you see

Change Action = 10

change the 10 into an E. That should fix it. =]

FYI, 10 = helpless falling state. E = Regular falling, like after a jump.

Oh, and wrong place. Next time, post this in the help thread. You have been warned.

I could've sworn I put this in the Help thread.

Oh well, thanks for your help.

After Ganon, and Captain Falcon perform their side-b's in the air they go into a state I can only describe as helpless.

How can make it so that they don't go into that state?
11  Help & Tutorials / Help / How to vertex hack Peach's hair? on: August 12, 2010, 04:02:17 PM
I'm wondering how to vertex hack Peach's hair so that it basically is like a guy's hair.

I mean without the thing in the box part.

So how would I do it?

Where would I put the extra vertices?

Sorry for having the picture so big  Sad

i don't think you can move characters with the trans bone (or at all with any bone) during specials besides up B.  Although thats only for some characters, but peach sounds like one of them.  The only thing i can say is to use character momentum.

I've read about that somewhere, but it wasn't in detail.

How exactly do I use character momentum?

So, I've been trying to get Peach to do an edited version of her dash attack as her Neutral B, I'm trying to start simple as a noob.

And she actually does it! However, after performing the attack, she snaps back to the place she was before the animation.

Also, when I click the Move Character Animation Flag, she just stays in place.

 :'(

I've read around and I've gathered enough information to guess that it might have something to do with her TransN bone. But no one has ever given a straight answer on how to fix it.

Can anyone please tell me what's wrong?
