anivernage joined has animator xD so did muscle hamster and he was the reason i started psaing xD so anivernage is making n-b for now so who wants to try the side B one?
o god i forgot that was my name for collabs...i really should make a new account.   i should have some anims to show soon, also are the fireballs going to be articles or false projectiles? so i know if i need to animate for a projectile or not

Anyway, I did some tweaking of your files and made things work a little better. Relatively.
I don't know what you want to do with the specials... so I just made them work again (like in the first release, anyway) so Dash is more playable...
I also made the HipN bone index reference properly, so the main throwing glitch is fixed... but then there's this strange physics problem, which I don't even know why it's happening. Dash goes downward diagonally when thrown, even through stages... I suspect some sort of collision problem with the bones, though. I tried a bunch of stuff on this but can't seem to figure it out. Oh well, maybe someone else knows what it is...

Other than fixing an animation ("SpecialHiFly") so it wasn't so messy in gameplay, that's it.
I've updated what the specials are supposed to be, as of right now they dont move and idk why they freeze up but im pretty sure it has something to do with the if statements in the subactions tab, also how did you do the indexing thing? i know nothing about models/bones

Everyone's favorite dare devil Pegasus has joined the brawl

includes normal (00) daring doo(01) wonderbolt(02) scootadash(03) and NMN shadowbolt(05) textures.

So good news first:
RAINBOW DASH IN BRAWL!!!!!
animations/attacks are ~ 40% done

And now the bad news/why we need your help:
the two specials we have "done" only kinda work
several bone indexing issues, like the pixel explosion when grabbed
we dont have a full moveset nailed down
issues with models for external gfx

How you can help:
we need another psa'er, preferably someone who knows how to do some kinda advanced stuff....unlike me
feedback/ideas about/for the moveset we have now

as for the specials that dont work, here is what they should do:


side b is supposed to be a forward rush that moves into a flurry of attacks by dash if it hits or can just recover

will also have rainbow flight trail, im just trying to get it to work first

Up b is going to be a tornado that pulls the enemy in towards its center and can be canceled into a divebomb attack or can be used as a recovery attack

I'm sorry if the post is unorganized/missing stuff We wanted to have a more smoothed out beta together before the next release, but we've hit a wall with some problems and need the help of the community

 You do not need to be a brony/like ponies to help with this project
we are trying to make this a legitimately good moveset for brawl, not just a half-flanked effort to put ponies in brawl.

well im almost done with spring classes so I may be able to be more helpful soon, I still only know how to animate in brawlbox,and not very well there even, but if anypony is ready to even start psaing let me know.  And if you need more animators im sure if you got something on EQD bronies would probably jump at the chance to help, maybe you've already tried though just an idea

No IM Spex? And turbo, did you ever examine my Snake download? It's got a nice PSA edit on it.
If you're referring to the one in your vault then yes.  I guess I was meaning when we have a moveset more or less nailed down/animated, let me know. I'm playing around with side projects until you're ready for me unless I can do anything else.

yah, originally i just wanted pinkie but ill help with anything... kinda just need motivation to work on something

and yes lack of spike content is why my moveset is blank, dont want just basic fire/claw attacks

cant wait to see this finished, im getting tired of seeing the same crappy pony texture hacks over and over...

ive been too busy/lazy to make any progress with spike (kinda need ideas too)

^ That looks good. Also have a new idea: Gummy as Mr. Saturn. (In case people don't know who gummy is, He is Pinkie's Pet Baby Crocodile.)
I was actually thinking of having gummy as part of the pinkie pie moveset (whenever that comes back to life)

meanwhile, anypony have ideas for the spike moveset?  school is slowing down a little so if I can get some ideas I could start on the base anims and the psa

if I can get some animations for the psa of any of the character I can start on them as im having a hard time thinking of what to do with spike, also ill look into the olimar freezing thing I think I have an idea for that.  anypony who wants to try psa, its really not too difficult, the boards here are useful and youtube is good.  but I think the animations are the most important at this point

Red: if you want something to do you can help with spike (I'm pretty busy with life stuff so not too much is getting done)

from what i can tell the order of characters is really who ever gets done with their respective projects first
