Hai. I've been hacking Brawl since 2010, but last year, a horrible problem came along: I lost my SD card. Of course, I found it later, but when I did, Gecko couldn't load my hacks. I tried many things before eventually giving up. Can this be fixed or will I have to reinstall SmashStack? I can provide additional details to anyone willing to help, but I'll be reinstalling SmashStack soon.
A month or two ago, I attempted to start my Brawl hacks through Gecko after having just found my SD card, which had been lost for a few months. When I tried to run the hacks, Gecko stopped me with a 230-line limit. I fixed this later on with a gameconfig.txt with the following entered into it: RSBE01: codeliststart = 80570000 codelistend = 80580000 poke(800042B8, 60000000) pokeifequal(80000000, 52534245, 803E9930, 60000000) pokeifequal(80000000, 5253424A, 803E99A8, 60000000) pokeifequal(80000000, 52534250, 803E9D5C, 60000000) pokeifequal(80000000, 52534245, 801D5F60, 4800000C) pokeifequal(80000000, 52534245, 80016C50, 60000000) pokeifequal(80000000, 5253424A, 801D5FD8, 4800000C) pokeifequal(80000000, 5253424A, 80016C50, 60000000) pokeifequal(80000000, 52534250, 801D6740, 4800000C) pokeifequal(80000000, 52534250, 80016CC4, 60000000)
This fixed the 230-line limit, but when I ran Brawl, none of my hacks were present! It was as if I was simply running the regular game! I can still run my .brstm and .thp files through Riivolution, but only those files. I use a 2GB MicroSD card, a modified Brawl+ .gct, Gecko 1.9.3.1, and a North American Brawl disk (RSBE01). If anyone knows how to fix this, please notify me immediately. If there's any additional information that you need, I'll add it right away.
EDIT: Just wanted to let you all know, it was working perfectly before I lost my SD card.
Hai. AiS doesn't seem to work for me. The batch file for the installer always says, quote, "The system can not find the path specified. 0 file(s) moved." If I simply need to create said path, then that would be great. I'm creating it right now.
Ok, I tried creating an ais0.1.3 folder in Program Files (not x86) and now it says that access was denied (gawd, that phrase is so clichéd). Really need some help here!!!
Someone plz help. I'm attempting this on a 64-bit Vista.
I did look at the textures. They didn't make much sense to me, as the Gooey Bomb looks much different in-game. Also, what do you mean by removing the bottom-left textures?
I tried my edit and it came out pretty decent. However, it didn't look very good. I just need to know how the texture wrapping works for the Gooey Bomb.
The first five are pictures of the textures (and I'm pretty sure there's no need to edit ItmChewingLight). The last one is of the 3D model shown in Brawl Box. And yes, I know that the tile around it will not look like that in-game. Please help me to understand the textures of the Gooey Bomb so I can make a working edit of it.
