I followed every single step and my MotionEtc.pac for Zamus still doesn't work.
hmm thats realy strange, my files (zss too) are working fine so... I don't realy know how to fix it, but I think its just something small thats going on, like file name orsomething, if not, sorry I realy don't know....
To use that XML correctly all you have to do is just put all hacks in that one "ssbb" floder. thats exactly how it works for me. every thing except "sss" and "css"!
so what you need is the more advanced xml, you can find that one on the riivo page too, just download the "file patch replacement support" XML and put your files in the same folders as you have to in gecko
you can also try the snapshot hack, very handy, it loads every hack and it surpasses the 256 line limit and stuff, only thing is, riivo is using the SD card constantly, so I think you have to transfer the snapshot to your wii first and then use it with riivo...

and when i try to use the file patch code it looks like patching it up two times cause freezing XD
It can be true, but in my case, it isn't, I just have a ocarina.XML and a SSBB.XML and the ocarina is to get some ccodes working and the SSBB to get the patching working, so those lines that are in that xml from the other thread isn't needed I think...
And lol xDD yeah I heard that before xD but I was not sure about it since I've never tried it myself...
1. Since you said here that you can use only a few codes i have 16 codes selected and it works but when i have 17 codes selected it won't load the strap loader so its not Riivolution its the GCT.file...
so the question is If i have file patch code off it will bring me to 16 codes and it will work so i just have to find a hook that will work and the File patch code will work right? because when i have Vl hook on it does not load the file patch code with the FPC enabled.
2. In my Ocarina XML.file it says: <!-- EDIT ME HERE WITH THE PROPER GAME ID AND PATH --> Is the Path SD:\Private\Wii\App\RSBE\PF\ If so what is the Game ID? do i NEED to have that? because the codes still work with that still there (Not the file patch code)
uhm, the gameID stuff... idunno, I just left the line as it is, so Idon't think you need to edit it, realy weird Iknow.. .and you dont need the FPC, only the FPC XML file...
and, I think the reason that you dont want the File patch code on is because riivolution already patches all the files, so, if it already does, and the FPC too, it would patch it 2 times, so thats kinda pointless right xD?
Use Sawnds, best SFX program ever, I've used it many times, and it great for sfx hacks, its very simple to use, just put a .wav file in the same folder as the sawnds program, fill in some boxes with info of the sound you want to replace (the info can be found in SMASHbox, not Brawlbox) and then click convert & insert and you're done... no hexing and stuff, just filling in boxes lol
sel_character folder? you need the sc_selcharacter_en.pac in the menu2 folder... And yes its called sc_selcharacter_EN.pac, so the en is needed to work with riivo, cuz the files have to be named as they are on the wiidisc
they say lotsa stuff, but all that is not true... yyou CAN use a selcharacter, and selmap and stuff...
