Divine, I have some animation suggestions.

For Light Spear Cannon (Up Smash), use the starting slash of great aether (the one that sends them into the air) then use the ending of spin attack (modified a little to get the sword in the right position), then thrust upwards as normal.

For Shining Bind, can you make it start similar to Galaxia Darkness. If someone is close by then activates the FS. And give Kratos his MA pose in Tales games during the initial use of Shining Bind, if it hits, then continues as usual. Reduce the damage if you can. And could you put vacuum properties (if you can) on the pillars of light that move towards Kratos during Shining Bind. High properties so it looks like the pillars are bringing characters closer like in Tales games.

For Demon Fang, use the other neutral attack of Marth's. It fit's better.

For Lightning Blade/S. Lightning Blade/Dark Serpent/Gugnir, Give them the same animation as Sonic Thrust, or change the look of sonic thrust. Kratos only uses one thrust animation for artes, i'm just saying they should be consistent.

For Light Spear (Up Special), are you going to add the ending downward stab? It would be good to have. And give abit more vertical height on the ground version. Include the stab in the ground version too.


Why would you want Kratos' Final Smash to act like Galaxia Darkness?..
The pillars of light have been discussed, and are a good idea. They should be implemented in a future release, depending on the difficulty of the process.

What is this downward stab on light spear you are talking about? I don't remember it being in any of the games?

Anyway, nice to see this getting back up.
Also, make sure to remove the rapid attack and make spell casting ground only.



Well shoot. I really liked the sword rapid attack..    I see what you did there ...
But I agree with the spell casting on the ground only.



Don't forget the spells!! Haha.  (if you even have time for them)
They are my favorite part of this PSA!
As said before by me and Philia, Grave, Eruption, Spread, and Cyclone are the main spells which need updating.


Grave needs a grounding effect, like the pitfall item. (And updated graphical effects)
Look at 3:16 to see what it looks like.

Eruption needs a complete makeover, unless you are going to turn it into Explosion like you suggested you might do.

Air Thrust should replace Cyclone if we are going to stay true to giving Kratos L2 spells. Otherwise, you would need to change eruption to explosion.

And Spread isn't even a spell which Kratos uses in the game.. so it might be able to be replaced by something else. Like maybe healing stream or healing wind? (That would be so awesome if you could heal people on the same team as you!) Cheesy


But we have given you enough to work on now I believe.

The graphics should be fine with non-kratos vertexts. The only thing that would change with non-kratos vertexts are the wait, run, and some other attack animations. Everything else should be fine. In the next release, I'll just set up an alternate motion file for non kratos vertexts.


I agree with Philia, that's very nice of you to do Divine, but aren't you quite busy with all of your projects already?..
I just don't want you to overwork yourself....

But I still think the PSA is epic. Therefore I want Roy over this PSA, but since it has renamed bone, guess I will have to keep the texture.

This project is for Kratos, if you want the graphics to display properly, simply use the specified Kratos texture instead of Roy.

How badly are the animation messed up? Is it serious, like he is missing animations for certain actions? Or just minor graphical glitches?

What do you mean? I'm pretty sure they are compatible. Marth's other costumes work fine for me, even when using this PSA.

I did in a fact verify that Guardian Field is working correctly.
Did you know that there is a sound test in Brawl?
Go to Data/Sound Test/Sound Effects/Marth

Here is where you can test every sound in the game, including the voices you edited. You probably knew this already, but I thought I would remind you anyway.

This is how I am able to test sounds even though they aren't placed anywhere in the PSA.

Anyway, I forgot to say something that I noticed long ago.

Make the neutral A attack so that normally you should miss your opponent with your sword, and see what happens, if I remember correctly, one of the attacks allows to hit the opponent with the sword that doesn't touch the opponent.

Ouch. Sorry.

So, in summery, the hitbox is outside of the sword animation?
I never noticed this. I'll have to look at it.

Absolutely no problem, as I said you, take your time to do it. Oh, and I had a suggestion about Thunder blade, is it not possible to take Ike's sword to be the thunder blade? It is an idea among others, but I think his sword would be better that Flamberge acting as Thunder blade. After that, if you can't do it, it's not a problem. It was just a suggestion to improve the look of this spell, but as I don't know if it can be done...

Thunder blade could use just a bit of a volume increase, but it isn't that bad. I think more people will be interested in the english voice however, so you might want to give it first priority.

Yes, I have already informed DivineOverlord of this problem with the Shining Bind over Guardian Field. He will probably fix it soon enough.

Apparently, the neutral B is supposed to be lightning blade, and then any chains held afterwards are called Super Lightning Blade, so Divine says. Smiley
(But now that I think about it, this seems correct)

And wow, Riivolution is the easiest thing to use!!
I would love to help you get it set up. Stage changes, PSA changes, .brstm changes and more are just a drag and drop away with Riivolution. You just have to know the proper directory setup.
I'll PM you with more info a little later on.

Why don't you use Riivolution with brawlmod launcher??
It's light years ahead of gecko as far as Brawl Customization goes.

Then you could hear SFX's and everything. Cheesy

In fact, I could sent you the root files from my SD card with which you use in Riivolution that way it wouldn't be so complicated to set up.
