16  Super Smash Bros. 4 Hacking / Smash 4 (Wii U) Hacking / [A, PSA] Tabuu's Wii U Mods! King Cold V. 2 Out! on: September 19, 2016, 06:22:30 PM
Hi everyone! I've successfully been able to import two rigged models as skins in Sm4sh Wii U! Almost everything is just as easy if not easier than for Brawl, with the harder to reach filesize limits, easier voice mods, etc!

And I'm not done yet!

Here's my current WIP!

Skins:

MAGOLOR AND MAGOLOR EX:
Type: Skin / Import
Base char: Luigi
Features: Metal model, MTA animation, expressions, alphas.

KING COLD (VERSION 2):
Type: Skin / Import, with future animation/moveset/MSC/etc mod.
Base char: Ganondorf.
Features: Metal model, custom normal/AO maps and new textures, SWG bones for tail, voice mod, cosmetics.

I'm looking forward to when we can use our own custom/edited bonesets. I'm kinda itching to Smash4-ify King Cold, since I cancelled the Brawl version.

Static models?

I'm confused. Does this mean rigged/skinned models aren't supported yet?

It's better to just discuss things in a rational manner, rather than let things get needlessly heated. I'm glad this didn't turn into any needless aggression either.

If your dump freezes before getting the Patch folder, just his "enter" in the command prompt window. It should then start going again.

Its an error that some people seem to be getting.

It's not freezing, I'm just not sure which file format / structure the updates have to be in for this purpose. There's no "compile update" function in either Uwizard or NUSGrabber, so I just downloaded them without decryption. One gives me no file extensions except "tmd.224", while the other gives me a bunch of files with ".h3" and ".app" files.

Just tried this Xampp stuff. SDCafiine now works like a charm and I'm playing Count Cannoli's battle theme replacing a Bayonetta track. XD

EDIT: This is awesome and surreal.... I'mma need a bigger SD card. (has a 8G)

I try to run the SDCafiine payload off of Kexploit, and I get "No kexploit" and hanging.
