TopN isn't typically animated in the Brawl animations, so turning it +/- 90 degrees on the first frame will make it rotated throughout the entire animation.
Or
Rename the TopN bone, rotate it on frame 0, then it will be rotated for every animation and you only need to edit it once.
Better make sure that [censored] compiles beforehand
Also, just popping in to say there are still some bugs with SCN0 editing. I did a bunch of editing and junk yesterday and when I went to save it crashed, so I don't know what's up with that. Pretty sure it has to do with editing light sets like I'd mentioned before, but I didn't really do extensive testing on it as I was so frustrated that my laptop almost went out the window, sooo.
Yeah, I feel animating the side platforms would help break up the stage a bit and make it not so static. A few planets would be nice too, and I think a penguin or two might help give it some life as well.
Aw man, shoulda put him over Toon Link. You'd probably be able to rig him over TL pretty easy I imagine and keep most of the extraneous animations like swimming, climbing, etc, and used the boomerang too.
Yeah, removing a light from a lightset then trying to save caused BBox to crash.
It's weird, though. It happened to me a couple of times already, but now that I'm trying to replicate it I can't get it to crash again. Not sure what's going on.
A few other things I noticed:
I can't change the alpha if Constant is set to false (mentioned that in a PM I sent), though I realized that wasn't causing the characters to be black. Changing the name of a light doesn't change the name of the reference in the lightset, unlike materials, where if you change the name of a material the name of the reference in the object data is changed as well. Don't know if that was intentional or not, just saying.
One other thing is that after making changes to the SCN0, saving, then making another change and saving again seems to cause the game to silent freeze for some unknown reason. Specifically, I added a spotlight, saved, and it worked in-game. Changed the distance function, saved, and it froze. I noticed a considerable-ish change in filesize, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it...?
