I have just about zero tech skill as well. I've seen that video before and I've tried, but I just lack coordination and reflexes in general, haha.
I'm able to get L-cancelling consistently, though (although I use Z to cancel to avoid throwing up a shield right after), and I've finally managed to get Samus's SWD somewhat consistently, but anything else, like wave dashing/landing, I'm pretty bad at. Oh well.
VIS0 toggles visibility, so yeah, it would have the same effect as scaling up and down without having to deal with funky interpolation. To each their own, I guess.
Hm, yeah, that may work. The only issue I see is that it seems to be restricted to one axis, unless you can connect multiple axes of rotation at a time...? I guess I'll just look into that more later as I familiarize myself with Maya, thanks.
Is there any way to make a control rig for less-than-humanoid characters to accommodate for things like wings or tails? I imagine there's a way to do it manually but I haven't messed with bone hierarchy or anything related to IK in years, and even then I wasn't that great at it, haha.
Pichu wasn't particularly great, but he's one of my favorite characters to troll with when I play Smash with some guys on campus. They mostly pick the "normal" characters when we play Melee (Falco, Fox, Sheik, etc) so I like to use low tiers to mess with them. Good times.
And they really aren't even that bad. Mewtwo's initial announcer call was kinda janky, but his and Roy's sound fine as they are, even if they were frankensteined from other sounds.
