I guess you forgot placing the additional model in the tutorial, the MShadow one.
Anyway, another way to make it work would be this:
1- In the material properties for your shadow material, click on this '...' button:
2- In the new window, click on 'add' and then write 'shadow' where it says 'Name':
With this, the shadows should work. If you get any trouble making these changes, then just get the invisible shadow model in the first post and place it in the same folder as your model with shadows.
Would you mind if I edited that Pikachu to have orange shades similar to Kamina from Gurren Lagann? I can send it to you and you can put it in the mediafire folder; I don't think it would warrant a standalone release.
Sure, why not?
I've been working some more on Rim characters, by the way. Here's some HD previews showing some of them.
I'll release the ones I currently got when I finish taking snapshots for the vault entries.
I may try a version with the bridge in the same level as the ground, so there's nothing obscuring it. Another option would be playing around with the materials so the characters are always visible or something. I'll see about all that.
About the bridge not being broken, my current plan includes a broken bridge, but I can't tell you the details yet.
By the way, hi there! It's been like 2 weeks since the last time I posted here. As I said before, my girlfriend is out on vacation, and I'm a little more free to make hacks. Not as much as I wanted, cause it comes that I have to prepare some exam I have in september and stuff.
Anyway, these days I've been working on an updated version of my ASL Tool, which is much better now. I've even recorded a video tutorial to show how it works and all that.
I'm about to release a bunch of still Battlefields to try to make people try the tool and the new importing option in it. I already released a night one a long time ago, now I'm releasing Morning, Daytime, Sunset and a revamped Night.
And the last thing I've done is just this skin for the Project M WarioWare. It's just a modified version of my Temple of Time with holes with floating platforms:
I'm not sure if I'm the only one with this problem, but I seem to be having issues getting the extra stock icons to work. A few of them (expanded team slots) work, but anything past the character's original limit just shows the icon for the last colour slot they originally had (ex. Mario 07-09 show 06 Mario's stock icon, even when I changed them all)
And I'm using Mewtwo2000's version of the codes, by the way.
The reason may be that you don't have the extra stock icons in your menu files. If you actually have the said icons, maybe they're not in the correct format. Either way, the game doesn't find them, and loads the previous valid file. That's something that would freeze if you tried to play classic mode with one of them, but doesn't if you play vs mode and just go to the stage select screen.
Are you using the files in the cBliss package or something custom?
I guess I can do nothing about it, some antivirus are just stupid. If you want to use it, you may have to temporarily disable your antivirus, or whatever program that tells you it's not safe. I can assure you that the program won't harm your computer or anything. I'm not a hacker ^^U xD
Hey I was reading this post and I was wondering if you could help me because I was experiencing similar problems with getting the gecko ps to accept my code. I'm pretty sure I placed all the hack files in the correct place it was just the file patch code and the gameconfig codes and placement thanks
Ok, the codes you sent me worked fine in a USB loader, I had to add the file patch code to make them work for me.
If you're using riivo, maybe the problem is with your xml file. You have to declare the files you're trying to read. If you got the xml from the cBliss package, that should be fine. But if you've changed it recently for some reason, then your game won't read the new costumes, and the game will crash.
Sometimes the freezes are silent, sometimes they are noisy. I'm not sure whether it is the costume or the coding, or even something else. I feel like I will be having to re-do everything from scratch...
So I've built the gct with your codes and it wasn't working at all for me, the game froze after the strap. After changing your 114-line FPC 3.5.1 with the longer version (115 lines), it's worked flawlessly. I've visualized the 10 preview pictures for all the characters with no freezes, and I've played a 4-player match with no issues.
Idk, if this doesn't solve it for you, something's wrong in your folders for sure. Be sure you have all the pac and pcs files for the extra costumes, and you got all the menu stuff.
