I've seen that someone ported Heartgold Intro as a background for Final Destination. I was not planning to do that, so it's okay, but before someone makes this, I annunce I'm working in a 'Battlefield over the Johto region', aka Ho-oh Battlefield
It's not finished, of course, as a pokemon stage it will feature some pokemon, like Rayquaza's lake or Rayquaza's battlefield did. So be a little patient if you want it or something xD
Well, Daytime Fourside has been uploaded. Standard users don't need anything more than the pac files, and place them such as they did with the original Fourside. But as in the original Fourside, there are some options inside for advanced users. The main option is that the 3 stages are exactly the same, changing them from one to another is quite simple. And mixing them without any external file is possible too.
So, these are the extras:
-In each version, you will find quite a bunch of scenedatas. The modeldata[0] is the one working at that moment. The modeldatas[1x] are for the standard daytime. The difference is that modeldata[10] (modeldata[0] in the standard pac file) has a fog, and modeldata[11] is the same without that fog. Modeldata[12] was used in beta tests, i simply left it behind but it does not look better than the other two in my opinion. The modeldatas[2x] are the ones for the dusk version. Same as above, modeldata[20] (modeldata[0] in the dusk file) is the same as modeldata[21], but having a fog. The modeldatas[3x] are the rainy version ones. Modeldata[30] has a fog, and modeldata[31] doesn't.
-The other extras are the clouds in the pics and videos, and the rain. They are separed, not prepared to work at the same time, as it doesn't make much sense having little white cloudies and a rainy environment. To switch them, just change the position of the two modeldata[101]'s in the file. The first one will be the one loaded by the stage.
-Well, and there's of course the color of the sky. There are 3 colors: blue, orange, and grey. They are in texturedata[0], and the names are sky, sky1, sky2 and sky3. The one working will be sky, and the others will remain unused. So, in the rainy version, there's a sky1, a sky2 and a sky textures. Sky3 is the one loaded, so the name is only sky.
-Oh, I almost forgot. There's one more thing. If you want water effects when you touch the ground (only makes sense when rainy), move down the first of the 2 miscdata[2] you will find in the files. Or move up the second one. Or just delete the first one if you don't want to revert the effect.
By knowing this, it is easy to make a combination of them, like a dusk/rainy version by using the dusk lighting, the rainy modeldata101 and sky2 or sky3. Please make them for yourselves, do not upload them to share. I want to be the one making any stage made from my Fourside, with the exception of that Moonside in the vault.
By hex editing. I've realised that the color of the light comes with the B1, B2, and B3 values inside each item in lights(NW4R). The direction is determined by the values in vec1 and vec2. And the fogs work in a similar way.
So it's just editing with hex workshop those values indeed.
The snow was in my mind too, but it will be apart of these 3 because of having to change some textures for making it fully covered by snow.
About having rain in the night version, I'm just updating the original one with a hidden modeldata which is able to be enabled by anyone to make appear the night rainy version.
As my stage, I want to make any standard version of it myself
Oh, about the scenedatas, they're all edited by me. The day one is the one in the night version but edited by me, if I'm not wrong. The dusk is an edited version of one scenedata in distant planet. The rainy version has another edit of the distant planet one.
Waitwaitwait. You can really edit the Scene Data, and not just replace them?
Sure, I made my first edit when doing the Venom I have in the Vault right now. The one I uploaded earlier to the Vault's existence had the same but a little darker. You can still see the pics of both of them in the OP
Oh, and for Battlefield 64 I made a mix of two scenedatas. But the first EDIT I made was Venom's. And I've edited every scenedata I've used since then I guess O.o
BTW, I can edit fogs too. Just like to the fogs in these Foursides when they're up.

The glitch was that the rain would animate for about a second, then disappear completely for a second before falling again. This was a while ago and I haven't worked on that stage recently since I've been doing other minor projects. Next time I go back to it, I'll try re-exporting the model from STGEARTH and starting fresh.
Hey Mewtwo, I'm asking you because you are definitely one of the more active (if not the most) stage makers out there. Would it take long for you to take the recently released Mario Circuit Stage (http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=5863&Moderated=All) and make it playable on the roof of Peach's Castle (leaving the tower on the background to make it good for battling)? (Or you could just use it as a background and make a different battlefield suspended into the air. Even importing Battlefield or Smashville could be an option). I think we need a good Peach's Castle stage.
Btw, your works on Fourside are awesome. Oh, and could you tell me where I can find the Raichu you use in the last video?
I could try it, sure, it shouldn't take me much time I guess.
About the raichu, it's an edited version of one I got some time ago from stacksmash I guess. The ears were not good for me and I edited them. So that raichu is not in the internet right now. There are some good raichus over there, but if you don't like any of the ones you find, then I'll upload mine
Using the ASL to randomly select any of the Fourside versions is going to be pretty cool.
And I have a question, which rain model are you using in that? I was making a stage involving rain but it had a glitch.
Edit: I could make that castle stage, and I might even do it today. It's a different shape than Melee's castle, but I'll see if I can make it work anyway.
The rain in stgearth. Is your glitch a freeze in the animation of water? If so, just delete all the animations except the 'loop' ones. Or place them in the first place, it's the same.
If that's not the case, then tell me what's that glitch O.o
As someones said in smashboards, there are noobs that even having tutorials and readmes, wouldn't be able to make the proper changes to the stage to enable the different versions inside, so I'm making 3 different Vault entries.
I think there are 2 versions of vertex box, one working fine for anim8tor only, if you try to return the changes from a 3ds then gets an error, and another working fine for 3ds max, but when you get a file saved with anim8tor or vertex box itself, then the result is an infinitely screwed up model.
If you get that error by using anim8tor, the only thing I could figure out is that you have not closed brawlbox before making the change or something
If I was you, I would try changing the background of a stage, such as putting the moon of the mansion in another, like final destination. While doing this, you will learn some and then you will be more prepared to make new stages.
But before you try to create, better try to modify.
I hope it won't be taking much days to do. It should be quite easy and simple.
I bring you new pics of Daytime Fourside xD
Hope you like it, I did my best ^^U
It will be released tomorrow
EDIT: I'm wondering... You know Fourside has some lightings and more than one background/moon that you can enable by using brawlbox. I'm meant to make the same thing with the daytime version, being that twilight/dusk image in there one of the skies/light sets for it... But regarding some people is not able / doesn't know how to use brawlbox, shall I make separate downloads for them?
