Drama and immaturity aside, I look forward to Gotenks. He's my absolute favorite DBZ character, and I've been keeping up with his progress on the thread so I've seen the work you've put into him. Good work man.
I love Spidey. The freedom of movement he has makes comboing a dream. I don't really understand the programming and what not that constitutes the making of a PSA, but it's extremely fun to use so I think you've hit the mark with this one. I eagerly await the final product.
As for Zero, I think a lot of people have already said what I'm about to say. I like the attention to the hair in the wait animation. That kind of stuff is all it takes to add a sense of realism. I think the run is fine in comparison to the source material, but there's something about it that I just can't seem to put my finger on. You and I seem to have similar feelings about the Z-Saber in the AAA animations. The enlarged saber does come off as rather grotesque, and I've always felt that saber appears to get longer and curvier, not wider, when he attacks. The animations themselves are looking pretty good though.
I love all your PSAs man. I still need to try Spidey first hand, but from the showcase it looked pretty good. Also I think this is appropriate for all the work being put in on Mr. Parker.
The Zero color pack V2 by 2DaMax92 has a battle name for Zero already in it if that helps. As for Gray Fox I think you might just have to cut and paste the letters for the Gray and then just put Fox's name right after it.
The in-battle names are found in MiscData[30] of the info_en.pac file. It'll go in private>wii>app>RSBE>pf>info2
This file is only used for name changing in the standard Brawl multiplayer modes though. I'm not sure what the file is for changing it in single player modes unfortunately.
Like with all the other files you can find a clean one in the Data Partition. I know there's a thread somewhere in the portraits section that has most of the png's for the more common names. Also if you're using Gecko OS it'll need to be renamed info.pac
I checked it earlier and there's a smashbros_sound.7z file and one called DBTSUGO_JP.brsar or something like that. I'm not sure which of those is the proper file though. The filesizes don't seem to match the one I already have. Any idea?
Hmmm that might be it then. I'm gonna have to figure out where I can find a guaranteed American version then. Or just accept Knuckles yelling PIKA! and Lloyd making Wolf's various sounds.
I'm trying to replace the sounds and voices for my "full character" hacks like Knuckles or Lloyd. I have the Hex files and a brsar and I could swear I was following the instructions on the Read Me exactly as they're written, but the results seem to say otherwise.
Can anyone provide any insight for me please? BTW I'm a total n00b at this kind of stuff so I'll more than likely need tons of specificity.
I'm using Asf1nk's Dark Flaming Blue CSS and every time I change the names (DK to Shadow, Pikachu to Knuckles, Wolf to Lloyd) it works fine but this wierd color glitch occurs with the Dark Flaming Blue background and looks like I'm playing the game on an acid trip. The glitch also makes my CSPs near invisible which is a problem.
Can anyone provide any insight as to what the problem is and provide any method to fix it?
