Hmm, if you can dig into the MvC3 files, it probably wouldn't be a wise idea to import the stages unless you do some MAJOR polygon removal. The Wii's probably going to freeze otherwise. Nice Dissidia imports through, I remember having those models and finding them interesting stage material. Glad someone's doing it!
Well, I didn't know you could already import stages now. Sure, it needs MKWii but still, that's some neat achievement. I'm more excited for Grasstown, through. It looks fabulous.
hey, glad to see you guys are still working on that. I kinda got out of the brawl hacking loop for a while, but you have all my support. (damn that's one useless post but w/e)
Hey BJ, could you still send me the current modset? I found some more animatons to fix and I don't want to bother you with my dumb experiments so if I can fix them myself it'd be better
yep external graphics would be my prefered solution as well ... and though i never tried that before either deleting everything but the desired weapon and then put the model in as external gfx sounds easy enough. only problem here so far is that we tried deleting polygons recently twice (with polygon deleter and manual hexing) and it always seems to screw up the model in brawl :/ ... most likely the same thing will happen if they're used as external gfx
@Difegue: Did you have similar problems as well at some point with volnutt?
I didn't, however I used the scaling method instead of pure deleting. Maybe that's it. I never managed to get his flipping face to look right through, I think you noticed it as well :x
It's probably in another animation brres. I can send you my modset so you can fix all the animations yourself if you want.
Actually that'd be great, because I'm sure there are some more animations I'd need to convert.
But that's not what I meant, it's just that the bones of the skirt always stay at their original position, even by moving them with a custom animation and crap :/ And I have no idea what causes it, it seems to be random through, so it might be a hexing issue. DSX8 had the same problems with another model from the game, and when I tried to port it it woked flawlessly O.o
Yup, they're working perfectly. Thanks! The mdl0 for her skirt doesn't want to move tho, I have to try re-hexing it... I want the school uniform to work dang it
For the stage, it should be on Skyworld. Largest filesize and loads of ModelDatas. For the background, depends. Cool or warm mountain? For the cool one, just work off summit or that ice stage from mkwii.
For the warm one...Jungle Japes? I dunno
For the models, a nice mountain could be the ice climbers' fs, summit itself, or the smash skiff mountain. For the girls, that's for everyone to decide. I know I'd like Mikuru, Sheena, and Shanoa, fitting the mdl0 barrier. Else, Yukari Yakumo plz
