1  Help & Tutorials / Help / "The given key was not present in the dictionary." BrawlBox sux on: April 30, 2011, 07:13:27 PM
Well, since yesterday, whenever I touch animations once I create them, ie modify or delete them, I get that error upon saving, and well I can't save. Im srs here

I don't know wth is going wrong, since I tried using different versions of BrawlBox, and re-hexing the models I had, even with FortWaffles' original programs X)

I even tried in on another computer and got the same error...(althrough that might be real model corruption, even tho I don't get it, the models worked perfectly in game u.u)

So basically, has anyone ever stumbled upon that damn error, and fixed it? Because I can't continue my stages if I can't save  Kirby Dance

2  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Stages / Difegue's animu stages: Double Haruhi combo! SOS Brigade + Station in the works on: April 01, 2011, 04:59:06 PM
Difegue's fabulistic imports and junk

So yeah hi there. You might know me as the newbie to stage hacking lurking the help forum. I don't really have much to say so I'll just get straight about my current stuff. Just one thing: Unless said otherwise, all my imports are based upon Wifi Waiting Room/Final Destination. Wink

Gesellschaft (Megaman Legends)

Oh yes this is going to be awesome. Tatsunoko has almost all the models I need. I kinda want to make this stage Corneria-like Tongue At first I wanted to fight on a small ship while the Gesellschaft was flying around Halberd-style, but then I realized the TvC developers didn't give it a back  not impressed
I find it weird nobody ever did this. The actual stage got imported, but this model needs more love!
I plan on having small Bonne ships flying around with Servbots and Tron sitting around, too...
(I'll probably use BigSharkZ's Tron vertex over Peach.)
IT IS DONE AAAAAA

Sorry, I couldn't fix the lighting. I'll update it if I ever manage to fix it :p

3  Help & Tutorials / Help / Needing some help with a stage I'm making - Mostly model import issues... on: March 30, 2011, 12:14:36 PM
So, I ripped an .mdl0 from the Haruhi wii game to use as a stage. I got the brres out of the iso, and got it showing in BrawlBox just fine thru FortWaffles' programs. I added it into good ol' Final Destination, and removed the main platform after editing the collisions to make it a walk-off stage.

Problem, it doesn't work ingame. :/ I'm pretty sure I followed closely the instructions to add a model into a pre-exisiting stage, so I dunno what's wrong. Maybe it's a problem with the collision data or animations... It's not a character model with a bunch of bones either, it's a pretty simple one Sad

It's my first attempt ever at stage hacking, so I don't know what to do to fix it.
Here's what I've got done so far, could someone take a look at it?

Also, any reason the file size didn't decrease at all even through I deleted the 3D model of the FD platform? Given, I left the textures in(just in case deleting it was a wrong idea), but still...
I'd like to know how to get rid of FD's hugeass background either. Can I just replace the ModelData (0) Roll Eyes with the one from, say, the Wifi training stage?

Please note that I didn't edit the camera, death boundaries or lightning yet. I just want the damn stage to work, then I'll get to the pretty part, I guess  not impressed
