I can't even boot up hackless, I keep getting stuck in the stage builder screen

I've gotten it to load twice now, froze the first time, let's see if it stays this time.
Try formatting your SD, deleting EVERYTHING off, and putting everything back on.

If I recall correctly, 3.0 was released like 2 days after it was originally planned to be released.

You recall incorrectly then. It was still the 9th Hawaii time Tongue

We're working on it guys. Theytah has been up almost 24 hours now workin on [censored] that isnt even his [censored] to work on.

Please understand.

It will be released on November 14th. Somewhere on this planet.

Thats all I can say.. cuz honestly I don't know the exact status on everything. I've been gone all day.
231  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / General Hacking Discussion / Re: [Official] Project M discussion: 3.5 coming soon! on: November 13, 2014, 02:12:47 PM

That is all.

Though I gotta say I love how Metal Cavern looks now. Big props guys.

Makes me wish I was as active in modeling.

EDIT:

Though I have a couple questions regarding things, if you don't mind me asking:

- Where did the idea for Charizard's armored Alt come from? It kind of reminds me of Lucario and the Mystery of Mew.
- How long did it take to redo the Dreamland Stage?

My only stipulation with Charizard's armored alt is I personally think the armor looks too dull, can Charizard not support a specular?

Charizard is based off of the Lucario movie, but with our own edits. Jiang came up with the design.

I was able to reduce filesize just a little bit ago, so we are going to add a specular map Smiley

Ah, well I'm certainly glad that Strong Bad agrees with me so wholeheartedly. Smiley

Not sure whether I agree with the idea of dissociating the death threats from the issue of P:M not being present at Apex, however. It's entirely possible I missed something, but weren't the threats specifically meant to protest against the latter decision?
Those are some really fancy ZSS alts. And that Metal Cavern is legitimately impressive. Hotdamn, so many details.

What's with the whole left side of the Iceberg though? It looks... oddly low-poly.

Honestly, I personally cannot answer your question regarding Apex. I know the basics, like death threats being sent to Alex, resulting in him from stepping down. I'm not sure who exactly was involved... I am not involved much in the actual PM and Smash community.

As for the iceburg... where exactly does it seem low-poly? I don't quite see what you mean.

Speaking of Apex, still nothing public anounced by the big wigs regarding the death threats sent to the Apex staff?
I've heard of some miscontent in the PMDT, but... well that's not exactly action.

Or did the release trailer seriously take priority there?

Its still there. Just his as his F-Smash now.

Lol, one week before SSB4. Aren't we getting a bit petty there...
I guess that's revenge for getting booted out of Apex in favor of the official SSB quadrilogy.

Nah. We've had this release date planned before we even knew about Apex. We wanted to release earlier to respect Smash 4, but we weren't able to.

All well and good, but I just gotta say LOL at people thinking this'll somehow cut into Smash 4 sales. C'mon now.

The new N64 stages are what I'm excited about most, but I need to know what's up with the Ganon flying thing
It's his new n-b.

Grounded, he uses the cape reflect.
In the air, he has a VERY short hover. Tapping B again will make him reflect as well.

as I said on the other thread, V0.67 is the best for importing textures, Ive had texture corruption problems even with v0.68a/b
Texture corruptions? What? Never happens to anyone I know.

.71 has little to no issues with character importing and material editing. It also has the tristripper, which really should be use by every importer to prevent lag.

I dont know, I never tried that one, anyway, saving the .pac with textures in v0.67 and then importing the model in v0.68 to save it and then editing materials in v0.67 again isnt really that hard
(I wish BJ made a brawlbox which actually had v0.67's actually working material edition and v0.68/older's importing things, too bad he focused in making bugs in purpose to ask for money to fix them instead of making them good since the begining)

Yeah, too bad the guy who spends HOURS programming something he will never use himself asks for a little bit of money.

Without him, you couldn't ever import your models into Brawl. Be a bit more grateful for what he's given us already.

You should probably use a different texture for the helmet specularity. The design is too sharp.
238  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: November 04, 2014, 11:02:20 AM
Yup, thanks. Now he's fitted with the extra weapons used for visibility bones and perfect animated eyes. This is a TP recolor of him I'm working on. He still has some rigging work to do and to fix normals.
Hes so.. yellow
239  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: November 03, 2014, 11:01:18 PM
Nice job! The textures on his snout look a little too intense though, maybe putting the scales at like 50 percent opacity maybe? Idk, they just kind of remind me of chains or something on his snout, lol. Looks great though Grin
So I can assure all of you... It is definitely Waluigi Time.

He's almost done, just need to touch the rigging up and maybe the model a little bit.

And, you know, give him actual fingers.

Well the rig is done. Since I don't know how to get rid of the light from Olimar's antenna I found a creative solution for it.

That's an excellent idea!
