Hey there everyone. It's been a few years since i've made hacks...lmao. I want to get back into it, but i dont even know where to start to be honest. So I'm looking for some help here. What is possible hack wise now? Can any model format be imported to brawlbox now? I know last i was here, BlackJax96 was working on .DAE models being imported wioth brawlbox. Did that ever get finished completely?
Also, I want to learn PSA and animation. I have the time and patience that I didnt when i was 15. Being 19 now, i can understand alot of things much better.
Hey everyone. I am working on putting together a brawl hack pack with the best complete characters out there. Right now I have Cloud in the iso working on dolphin. Character files only, no csp yet or anything.
Was wondering what everyone thought were some GOOD GREAT AND PHENOMINAL complete hacks to put in? As i play using dolphin, i cannot use extra slots as far as i know so everything has to be over one character. Would like it to be competitive, but eh. is what it is lol.
Also i would perfer only model imports with full psa's and character outfits EDIT*** Cloud is over ike

Hey guys!. This is the thread for my CHR0 Extractor. It is written in python. This is a modification to ForOhForError's Brres Seperator, so that when run, it lets you choose a file, and it will then search through that file for CHR0 animations. If it finds any, it will extract them to the same directory as the original file is in.
This program is very helpful for files that cannot be opened normally, or files with many CHR0's in them. It will be of great use for the Tales of Brawl Projects, as well as just about any other process that requires CHR0 extraction.
To use the program, and start extracting CHR0's follow these easy steps: 1. Double-click on "CHR0 Extractor.py" 2. Wait for it to load, then choose the file to extract the CHR0's from 3. Wait for it to finish the extraction, then go to the directory of the file you selected. 4. DONE! your CHR0's should be all extracted and there!
NOTE1: This does not fix the CHR0's to work in Brawl. You will have to manually do that. NOTE2: You need to keep everything that comes in the download in the same folder.

Hey guys. I'm having major issues with making myself a custom SSS. Everytime I insert a stage preview image and a selection icon, all of the selection icons go white, and the name of the stage appears on all of them at once. However, the stage preview image works. Am i doing something wrong? Also, are there codes i need on order to use a custom Stage Selection Screen?

Well, today I'm here to ask you all for a little help.
Today I am asking for help with one of two Imports. 1.) Dragonite over Charizard
OR 2.) Luxray over Pikachu
I am undecided as of now, but if anyone would kindly help out with animations and/or glitch fixing, i can make recolors, CSS icons, CSPs, CSS Names, etc.
I figure Luxray over Pikachu wouldn't need that much of a PSA, and Dragonite over Charizard may need a little more of a PSA.
If you can help with any of the two imports, please do.
Hey guys, xxmasal22xx here. I was wondering if it would be possible for a code for brawl to have more than 4 players. This is based off of how there are at least 5 or 6 when you do an alloy battle to try and K.O. as many as possible.
Please leave a comment if you have any advice/insight/something to say.
I'm importing a couple models into battlefield, one of them has animations. However, after i save, and put on my SD card under brawlmods/custom1/stage/melee (i use riivolution) it has no effect on battlefield what so ever.
Could somebody please help me figure this out? I'll give credit with the release, and give you the files if you need 'em.

I am trying to retexture a brres file(not hexed) from TOS2. It lets me replace the textures fine. HOWEVER brawlbox does not let me save it. File-->Save As-->*insert file name here*
well, as you all know, there is much difficulty with getting Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World models to work in brawl.
First, you have to hex it, then you have to fix the bone structure.
Well, i have a WIP theory about why Fortwaffles' Automatic Model Fixing Programs do not fix them.
Keep in mind that this theory is still a work in progress and i am still testing files out.
Here it is:
I conclude that (almost) every TOS2 brres file can be fixed using fortwaffles' automatic model fixing programs. However, it seems that only brres files that contain animations cannot be fixed with them. On the other hand, there are a few, like Verius, for example, that have one animation, yet are still fixed with the programs. Almost every brres (this seems to be from TOS2 only) with animations that i've tried to use on these three model fixers fails to fix the model. However when the TOS2 brres files have no animations, they seem to hex fine, and ARE fixed. MOST of them, at least. I hereby can declare, that the issue has something to do with the CHR0 (animation) files. I have tried removing them, and then saving the brres before running them through the programs, yet they do not save, and instead give an error message.
So, what do you all think? Questions, comments, concerns? Other findings and/or theories?
