Also, if you want showcases for the other stages or any future stages just let me know. Since I was kinda limited on time I only did the three that I thought stood out the most.

I was gonna get into this a few years ago, but a guy named Knightcrawler was totally against my methods. I was fed up, so I stepped back, waiting for this famed "Kryal" guy who was to make this "Perfect" modding tool.

which was actually a flop in the end. cause we're still modding with primitive means..

I remember this. You were the guy who posted the pic of the melee mewtwo model, right?

And Knightcrawler was all like 'No, we shouldn't use stuff from other games, cuz it will give hacking a bad name ... bla bla bla ... Distributing files is illegal ... Sites will be shut down'

Yeah right, imported models are all over the place now (they barely work aside from stages but you get the idea) and I don't see any game developer taking any actions.


On another note, good job on Shinobu. That's easily the most impressive vertex hack to date.

I'd say Mewtwo. While BSZ's vertex hack is awesome I'm still waiting for one that looks less like Lucario and more like his Melee incarnate.

Hey, that looks pretty cool. Katana seems slightly too big from the pictures but I'll take a look at it ingame when I get home.

Do you still plan on finishing this? I would love to update Ichigo's BrawlVault download with this (obviously giving credit for the vertex hack)

Holes as in, nothing there at all.

You can't paint something over if there is nothing to begin with.

I looked into moustacheless Mario and Luigi btw, seems the stache is connected to their arms and legs.
As for Fox' scouter the only thing you can remove without removing the scarf and leaving a hole between his body and neck, is the lense, which can be removed through transparency already.

I can't promise that the eye texture will be mirrored but removing the eyepatch won't leave any holes.

At least not the simple way. If you remove the hat, the whole back of his head will be gone.

Moving a bone moves all other bones attached to it, if that answers your question.

First off this is no texture hacking team. I'm looking for hackers who are willing to help out with my machinima series Soul Brawl. Debuting about 10 months ago there are now over 1300 fans awaiting the release of new episodes.
The only problem is production of the series has been going fairly slow, due to it using alot of custom stuff (hacks, textures, etc) and me doing almost all of the textures myself. Seeing how I never was really good at texture hacking it took me ages to whip up something decent. So I decided to leave texture/moveset hacking to people who are actually good at it while I focus on video editing.


What I'm looking for right now are mostly texture and moveset hackers, also custom animations would be nice for future use.

For textures I'm not going to tell you exactly what the finished product is supposed to look like, I'll rather give you a theme and some pointers. The rest will be up to your creativity unless you actually want an exact description, that is.

As for movesets, I know these take a while to make but what I need aren't even full movesets. On top of that I don't care if they are balanced or if the moves work well together, heck even the exact damage and knockback values don't matter. I only really need new specials and maybe one or two animation swapped standart attacks. And those will be more about visiuals anyway.

As for condotions, you're not having to work exclusively for me. If you feel like it you can release whatever I asked you to do. You can also quit at any time, just drop me a message if you can't/don't want/whatever help out anymore .
You'll recieve a spot in the credits right under the developement team and if you have any website/youtube channel you want me to promote for you, I'll link to it in the video description.
