what you can do is delete all of your posts from the topic you don't want to see updates from and then you won't get updates from it anymore (i did that to get out of the family topic) (that is, if you are able to delete your own posts)
As requested, a new board for stage hacks has been made. This will stay separate from the Texture hacks board.
If you have a stage topic that you want moved from the Textures board into the Stages board, leave a link to your topic here and we will get to it.
To any mods or admins who see this: if you move a topic, edit the member's post in this topic to signify that it has been done (just write "done" in it). This way we can get the topics moved faster.
Yes that is correct. I just need a way to figure out how to explain it because it is very math-involved. Stay tuned for my updates so you know when the guide comes out
That.. won't work. In a Japanese brsar, it is not just the offsets that change. The sounds themselves also have different lengths than in the US version. So I am not surprised that it doesn't work. Sadly, you would need someone to hack all of the sounds again, but onto the Japanese brsar this time.
Did you make a hex packet, or did you download one (it kinda sounds like both)? It should be exactly the same as replacing a sound on the NTSC-U bsar, the only difference is the offsets of the sounds.
I said that to avoid complications in the process.. it would have been way too hard to explain to beginning sound hackers, so it is in my next guide I am working on for advanced users. here's an example of another extra long sfx hack i made a few months ago:
well, i don't think enough people would admit they are noobs, then crap will hit the fan when a noobish question is asked in the non noob forum but that's just my opinion (mine doesn't matter much anyway )
On-topic Discussion and Help boards get divided into 2 sub-boards the the first division of the On-topic being important brawl reference stuff, and whatever else could be deemed useful, and the other division...the rest of the threads that are on there
The first help division being non-n00b help where people actually have some kind of problem that isn't answered in any guide, and the other division being n00by help.
