You can't honestly hold it against me that I like to help people avoid warnings. It's called being a good samaritan. What if I don't like seeing people get warnings and whatnot for their transgressions? I really wish you in particular would stop raising issue with all that I say or do. I'm actually quite on the topic this time so I have no idea what the problem is.
If reporting hacks that need to be fixed is done here, then it should be completely fine to see what needs to be fixed and tell the people ahead of time so that they can avoid being reported.
Uh... I was about to ask something and then decided that it could be seen as derailing and stuff... We don't want that.
So here's my question. There's a voice pack I saw that I like but there are a few things off about the placement of the wavs. If I were to take that pack, dissect it, and reorganize it to where the wavs were where I want them would that be okay?
Nair needs to be NOT what it looks like. It looks like Marth's. Were I you I'd take something far more rugged for him. Instead of him doing the old fashioned two quick slashes you might tweak the animation so that he only does one slash, but slower and make it hit all around.
I'll have to actually see the other sword moves in animated action to know what else needs to be changed. Of course I already mentioned long ago the thrust (side smash) needs his hand to be balled into a fist and that he should have his back arm lower.
So I've been thinking about this... really trying to come up with something less personal that might make the vault have a few less problems if people actually read.
What if when submitting every hack you had a new group of checkmark boxes right near where it says desync wifi?
Think about it, people read that. So what if you had boxes near there that said... Collaborate if Used or Modified Give Credit if Used or Modified Feel free to use or Modify
That could greatly help with plagiarism reports. I mean there would be no mistaking what someone wants if you use their hack. Post Merge: November 25, 2012, 08:29:34 PMof course all 3 boxes wouldn't be checkmarked. Only the checked box would show up on the actual submission. But while submitting or editing you'd have the choice of which one to checkmark.
You really think so? Is there anyway that it would only feature hacks that updated more than the description? That way people can't just update to say they included a readme.
Oh right, I wasn't asking. I second compactor. We should really have a section that shows recently updated hacks. I've thought about it before, like... if I update a hack who's gonna notice? So that'd be cool. if there was like a recently updated 10 section or something like that.
