How are you gonna do that? In PSA can you just uncheck a box that allows collision with walls? And if he can't touch walls, how are people gonna be able to attack him? I'm assuming his collisions with everything is grouped together, and if it's as simple as unchecking a box, then wouldn't that make him unable to touch anything?
I was confused as to why I didn't see Starwaffle's thread. I saw Beyond's thread (with the random title) and then noticed the was star's thread. YOU CAN'T FOOL ME!
Not as an attack, but just his normal jump, if he has only a normal size jump but no recovery, then it's not really fair to use him against anyone. Yoshi has a higher jump than everyone because he doesn't have a true recovery (then again, so does Ness, and he has a recovery, but it is kinda hard to do with Ness) and if Hammer Bro has the hammer throw as his up B, then unless it can be doubled as a recovery then you'd have to make him jump as high as Yoshi.
However, I don't know how possible it would be to do this, but maybe you could make his recovery flying on those blocks from SMW.
Like that, but useful a recovery, and maybe have him throw a hammer to each side.
Well, you could base most of his Normal attacks around Hammers. For his Up B you could have a move similar to DDD's up B, where he jumps up, and does damage to anyone under him or close to him, except if the Hammer Bro lands on someone, it buries them. Similar to the Sumo Bro/Big Hammer Bro, except you can't make it so when the Hammer Bro lands, it causes a wave that stuns everyone for a few seconds. For the Neutral B have a move like Mario's fireball For the Side B have a move like Link's Boomerang. And for Down B, you could have something like Ice Climbers "Ice Breath" or whatever it is. Or something similar to the Neutral B but with Ice. That's really all you could do to incorporate the Ice, Boomerang, Fire, and Sumo bros into the moveset considering that's the only thing all five have that is different.
Other than the fact that the shoulder-pads look dented and the fact that part of the Arm Cannon is a little too square-ish, it looks amazing.
I'm not complaining though, you use Blender for vertexing right? I tried blender and it is frustrating, I can only imagine how meticulous it is to actually vertex something.
Hammer Bros can jump pretty well, maybe it could be like Sonic's Up B where he just jumps and doesn't do damage, then you can make it so he doesn't go into Helpless mode while falling so he can actually attack.
