This is just to keep me from getting bored while Project Soul CaliBrawl is getting organized.
The idea came to me a few days ago, that most, if not all of the fighters in Brawl, have kinda suckish Finals as of now. What I plan to do is change them into something like a Level 3 hyper combo from MvC. I'm gonna try to have them be unique to each character, using as many signature moves and items as humanly possible. Think like MarioDK's SMBZ Mario for an idea of what I'm going for here.
Oh and one more thing: the moves will ALWAYS KO. ALWAYS. unless you're in some stupid boxed-in place that's no fun to fight in anyway
The order of characters I will be doing (because I actually have good ideas for them ) is:
Sheik dashes, trips the opponent and kicks them high into the air, then throws a freakish amount of needles at them. He (she?) then disappears, then reappears in midair, dashing through the opponent three times, juggling them higher each time. He then appears straight above them, kicks them down to the ground, then comes crashing down on them.
Marth
Fighting style: Sword-dancing...? Weapons: Sword
Marth throws his sword, impaling the opponent. He dashes, grabs the sword and flings the opponent into the air. He jumps after them, doing a blazingly fast combo with his sword, ending with a finishing flip that slices the opponent into oblivion.

Fighting style: Medieval warfare to the fullest! Weapons: Master Sword, Boomerang, Bombs, Bow and arrow, Clawshot
Link first charges the Gale Boomerang, summoning a tornado that draws his opponent close. He then proceeds to do a powerful 5-hit combo with the sword, then Clawshots them and throws them into the air. He then draws a bomb arrow and fires, making the enemy splode into the atmosphere.
Lucas
Fighting style: Psychic Weapons: Telekinesis, Pyrokinesis, Electrokinesis, etc. And a stick.
Lucas runs and pokes the enemy with the stick, stunning them for a moment. Lucas then extends his hand, trapping the enemy in a vortex of psychic energy. He then slowly lifts them into the air, where the equivalent of a psychic fireworks show starts, with the enemy in the center.
One more thing I forgot to mention: When you break the smash ball, after you press B for the first time, you will emit a small explosion of energy, damaging those around you. The character will glow red for about 7 seconds after that, showing that he/she is able to use the Omega Hyper Combo.
Please post if you have ideas for other characters! I'll add you as a collaborator when that particular character is finished.

Current Project: Nightmare OK, here's the deal. I can't think of any good ideas for his moveset, so for now, I'm switching to either Raphael (over Marth), Talim (over Pit?), or Xianghua (over Marth again...yay for .rels!)

EDWARD ELRIC OVER MARTH
EDIT: I just found out that Hollow is going to do Ed over the summer. That's pretty much cemented my resolve not to work on this anymore. I'll keep the moveset up in case he needs it for ideas, but that's it.
The Hero of Amestris, the FullMetal Alchemist, is coming to Brawl! Current Moveset
AAAAA combo- A 5+ attack combo, consisting of Fox's first jab, followed by a modified Samus' Attack12, then another, similar slash from the side, then his SpecialSLw animation, and a final stab that pushes him forward. EPIC. Dash attack - He spins around three times, knoching the opponent off his/her feet.
Up A- The final attack of his Side B, where he steps forward and swings his sword up and spins.
Side A- A far-reaching roundhouse kick, followed by a slash to the face. Looks awesome.
Down A-He spins and swings his blade at his opponent's shins.
Up A Smash- Alchemy Storm: His blade shrinks away and he does three uppercuts, each with a different effect.
Side A Smash- a strong slash (Zamus' side-smash)
Down A Smash- He bends over and causes two explosions by his hands.
B- Air pressure- He compresses the air around him and fires it at his opponent's face (Lucas' PK fire animation)
Up B (ground)- Jumping slash- He slashes the enemy into the air, spins around once, grabs them, flips, and crashes down to earth on top of them. My pride and joy.
Up B (air)- He raises both hands and creates strong air currents that push him upwards for around a second and a half.
Side B- Partial Alchemy- at close range, he grabs the opponent and causes an explosion (yes, I know it's Scar's move but Ed did do it once when he fought the armor guards at Lab 5).
Down B (ground)- He crouches and uses alchemy to bury anyone on the ground close to him. (Probably will have multiple charge levels.
Down B (air)- He begins to spin rapidly and dives down to the ground. A suicide move if not used carefully.
N-Air - He spins around twice, hitting the enemy twice with his blade.
B-Air - Unchanged for now
F-Air - A strong slash with long windup and a meteor effect
U-Air - A quick flip-kick upwards that is useful for juggling.
D-Air - He...kicks downwards
Final - Red Water- Ed raises his hand (itemAssist animation) and the air around him explodes with medium damage and medium knockback). After the attack, Ed starts glowing red, is invincible, and gains immense power for around 30 seconds or so. Kind of like Eldiran's Zero 1.4 psa's Final smash.
KILIK (SOUL CALIBUR SERIES) OVER IKE
I believe that the Soul Calibur series needs more representation in Brawl. This is a project I will be doing completely on my own, from scratch. I have a few moveset ideas, but they are very unorganized and I don't have time to get them down atm.
NEW MOVESET!!! I just recently finished Red Steel 2, and the only thing I could think as the credits rolled was that HE NEEDS TO BE IN BRAWL. So, with that in mind, I give you:
KUSAGARI (RED STEEL 2) OVER IKE OR MARTH
MOVESET:
Stats: Height: 8/10. Pretty tall, a couple inches taller than Ike. Weight: 6/10. Pretty average, just a little heavier than mario. Speed: 3/10. Very slow. Faster than Ganondorf, but slower than Ike. Air Speed: 4/10 A little faster in the air, but still pretty slow. Jump Height: 5/10. Average. Overall, he is classified as a heavy character. He has a little trouble getting around, but once he gets to you, you had better pray for mercy.
Moveset Ideas: Wait1: Standard wait pose, standing with the left shoulder facing forward Wait2: He pulls out and twirls his revolver Wait3: ? DodgeF: He sidesteps around the opponent in a strafe-jump DodgeB: He jumps backwards. Air Dodge: He spins once, propelling himself to the right and back.
Attacks:
AAA: Two weak horizontal slashes, then he spins and does a strong vertical slash. 2%, 2%, 3% for each hit.
FTilt: A quick stab - one of his quicker moves. 8%
UTilt: He fires two weak shots from his revolver upwards. 5% each bullet
DTilt: More or less, Ike's DTilt.
FSmash: The Reaper: He slowly steps backwards, then quickly dashes forward and strikes the opponent with a powerful horizontal strike. Difficult to land, but can kill in the low 90%'s. 20%
USmash: The Eagle: He slashes the opponent upwards, then shoots them three times. Mainly used to rack up damage, as the bullets have no knockback. 12% for the slash, 2% each bullet
DSmash: The Bear: He briefly charges up, then punches the ground with his sword hand, sending those around him into the air. 16%
Neutral Special: The Viper: He draws his blade back (Charging animation), then fires a beam of energy straight forward. In air, it fires at about a 45-degree angle downwards and cannot charge. 3 levels of charge: 12% first, 15% second, 17%+stun effect third
Side Special: The Rush: He charges at the opponent with his fist forward, then depending on whether A or B is pressed, he either stabs or shoots at the opponent. Bullet has more range, while the stab has an impale effect and deals more damage. Little knockback for either. Stab: 14% Bullet: 9%
Down Special: The Tiger: A counter move. He holds his sword horizontally, bracing himself. If an opponent attacks, he blocks it, then spins and slashes them away. 1.4x the power of the opponent's attack, but it comes out pretty slowly. Up Special: The Storm: On the ground, he spins in a complete circle, slashing everyone away. In the air, he basically does Link's up-special, except it ends with him slashing them downwards. One of his faster moves on the ground. Ground: 14%, Air: 13%+meteor smash
Final Smash: He performs the first part of his Eagle animation, but instead of shooting them, he jumps up to meet them, does a few ruthlessly hard slashes, kicks them back to the earth, then follows it with a final stab that buries them in the ground. Pretty much an instant KO for anyone caught in it.
ATTENTION NOOBS. THIS IS NOT a request thread. Unless I find your idea so frickin' amazing that I can't NOT do it, you will be shut down in the most humiliating way possible while still within the bounds of the forum rules.
Final (idea 1)- An alchemy circle appears in front of him. Anyone caught in the circle is either buried or paralyzed. He then dashes forward and does Link or Toon Link's Final smash animation, minus the graphical effects of course.
Final (idea 2)- Red Water- Ed raises his hand (itemAssist animation) and the air around him explodes with medium damage and medium knockback). After the attack, Ed starts glowing red, is invincible, and gains immense power for around 30 seconds or so. Kind of like Eldiran's Zero 1.4 psa's Final smash.
Final (idea 3-NEW)- The Truth- I'm pretty sure this is impossible, but it would be awreshome. He would create a gigantic alchemy circle and open the Eye of Truth. Everyone on the stage (except him, of course) is bombarded with knowledge (read: damage) and sent flying.
Update: I am no longer working on this. As of now, Pram and Shadowmarth are working on this, with possible help from KingJigglypuff in the far future.

I have taken down the link to the motionetc so the finished product will be a surprise. If you want/need a copy ask either Shadowmarth or Pram.
Also, please don't flame me for stupid reasons like "He doesn't even clap his hands when he uses alchemy!" If you don't like it, make your own animations.
I honestly have no idea what's going on with this. I have asf1nk's custom CSS and SSS in common5_en.pac, and i put that in X>brawlmods>custom1>system but nothing happens when I go to those screens. No custom CSS, no background, nothing. Is it a problem with where I put the file or is something wrong with the file itself?
