so your saying you want to create an animated background so that it rotates arounds in a circle?

hmmm....try finding the background and then create multiple frames using the pics that, when put together, make the animation
228  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: I can't replace any CSP name texts or game freezes on: December 15, 2010, 06:13:09 AM
Ok...then delete your save and get another one...thats the only thing I can think about.

Sometimes (and its rare) mods can corrupt your save file.
229  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: I need help with a Kirby texture on: December 15, 2010, 06:10:48 AM
all im seeing is pics in Brawl Box...not in game...provide a screenshot of the texture in game.

Speaking of which...this looks more like a model hack, textures usually don't cause problems unless theres some sort of model involved, what I suggest is that you re-adjust the arms so that they match Kirby's arms in size and shape, that might help
230  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Help needed for character slots on: December 14, 2010, 06:18:35 AM
why would i need an xml file? do you have your own character slots?

With Riivo, an XML is required in order to run things nicely
231  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Project 64 CSS Help on: December 14, 2010, 06:14:56 AM
are you using any other code and or mod with this? Because that might be the cause of the problem
232  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Setting Up Riivolution on: December 14, 2010, 06:13:51 AM
it depends on what XML you are using, read up on http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=11743.0 to get a better picture
233  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Stages on: December 14, 2010, 06:09:41 AM
you have to change the frame rate of the animation, that simple
234  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: CSP hacking? on: December 13, 2010, 12:08:47 PM
make sure you have a photo editing software like PhotoShop or GIMP, my suggestion on making CSP's is to use the preview pics on Brawl Vault and edit them. The CSP's have to be 128 x 160 and they need to be in PNG file format. other then that...follow what Xaro said
235  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Hex Help on: December 13, 2010, 06:18:18 AM
make sure you are doing what your doing right (sounds wierd yes but) Hex, just like any code, requires you to do things the right way, not your way, once you master it, u can do almost anything with it.

BTW. What are you trying to accomplish?
236  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Programmers Needed on: December 10, 2010, 06:13:13 AM
I would suspect that this sort of thing is somewhere in BrawlBox's teams to-do-list. I wish they'd implement a 3ds-quality vertexing tool as well, but I don't see it ever happening lol.

I bet it is...I think it would be also easier to PM Kryal and tell him about your idea.

anyways...it would be very helpful but as said...making photo editing software takes time and huge skill, but it should be easier to get a source code from the web and inplant it into the BrawlBox data base...If you knew how to do it though
237  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Character Vertexes and Textures / Re: SuperGirlKels Sonic texture hack! on: December 09, 2010, 12:45:15 PM

238  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Exception (DSI) Occurred! on: December 09, 2010, 12:38:10 PM
assuming you tried to load Gecko multiple times after the problem occured, here are my suggestions:

Lower the amount of codes you have

and if that don't work...

Re-Download Gecko
239  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: I can't replace any CSP name texts or game freezes on: December 09, 2010, 12:34:37 PM
fix your codes so that its simply the bare minimum (File Replacement) and try it again
240  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: What programming language is PSA based on? on: December 09, 2010, 12:32:01 PM
He's talking about the program: what scripting language it's based on.
Anyways, I think it's written in C++, but I could be wrong (I usually am wrong).

ah...well then the closest answer would be Python I think...I don't know that language but I believe that Python works with Hex, which is the code lines you edit in a PSA
