So after putting it off for a while, I figured it was finally time to give ten costume slots to each of the default characters, and I decided to use the stock files in the first post. I did a few (Mario, Link, Marth, several others) and they worked perfectly fine. Then I came to Peach and Bowser, and simply cannot get them to work. I've tried with the stock files from this thread and edited files from PW's "Configs Templates" folder, but no luck. It isn't the method I'm using to load the game (Gecko, Riivo, and Dolphin all freeze) or the costumes I chose (I've even tried renaming default costumes). No matter what, the game silent freezes upon selecting a stage if I pick a costume above 06 for those two. Is there anything special about Peach and Bowser specifically that I could be missing?
Edit: I also have the FitPeachEntry files, to clarify. Does Bowser have anything similar to those I'm missing?
I noticed that with this pack (the vBrawl version at least), the game doesn't freeze when selecting an expansion stage in My Music, it just opens Battlefield's tracklist. It's also possible to go to page 2 without the menu icon causing the game to crash, because one of the expansion stage icons (Venom I think) disappears in My Music.
How did you do this without using the Tracklist Modifier? I assume it has something to do with the included Common2.pac, but I'm attempting to use this pack together with BrawlEx, which already has its own required Common2. Is there any way to "merge" the two Common2.pacs, so I could have both BrawlEx and the maximum number of expansion stages without the My Music page 2 freeze?
So I am experiencing a very rare and strange glitch, I recently added a few new clones (56-5A)
I haven't given any cosmetics to any of the new clones I added yet and all the clones work except 58 (Dark Link) it's not that he doesn't load it is that he freezes when i select him. I have never had this happen before, what causes this freeze?
I have remade his config files and module 3 times with no fixes, I don't know what I am missing.
Pretty sure someone mentioned Dark Link not working earlier in the thread, so it seems to be unique to that particular PSA for some strange reason.
can you elaborate on that part? or at least post your xml? I was about to ask your exact question, but I don't know what you mean by "create="true" for fighter and info folders". I'm using Brawl Mod Launcher v2.9 by VGBC Isatis.
Edit the xml and change every instance of these lines:
They may appear several times in the xml, depending on how it is set up. I'm using an old modlauncher xml that I've added things to here and there over the years, but this should work with whatever setup you have.
What is it exactly that makes the xml included with cBliss compatible with the new costume slots? What can be added to a modlauncher xml instead of adding a line for each individual new costume slot and what else must be added? Just create="true" for the fighter and info folders? Edit: Apparently that is all you need to do.
I can also confirm that random freezes occur if Sheik is involved in a 4-player match, although I cannot seem to recreate them except by chance. Sheik was in 4th slot every time this happened for me, but it doesn't always freeze with Sheik in said slot. The combination that consistently freezes is (new costume slot), (any character), blue Marth, any Sheik.
Also, has anybody gotten cBliss to work with stage expansion on Riivolution?
BigSharkZ's Skyward Sword Link pack has been taken down for copyright infringement (a company known as Kapow Software is removing Nintendo-related content from MediaFire). Would anybody who has this hack downloaded be willing to upload it elsewhere?

super swands needs to show the SFX ids there is used for PSA so we can see what SFX Id in PSA we needing to use for the new SFX we just replaced in the brsar cuz the thread for that is gone i can´t find it anymore and this is really needed so we can make SFX packs easter for our PSAs/or make SFX packs for the muted movesets
Any chance of this happening in a future version? Would prove extremely useful, since there is no longer any good way of matching sfx ids to PSA.
i have ported star mewtwo and armored mewtwo over marth guess if you want you can replace the texture
I'm aware that this is late, but could you explain how you did that? The "PSA compatible" Mewtwo freezes over Marth, as do the couple of attempts at this I made.
Would it be possible to add some sort of feature that allows you to copy a sound effect from one character to another or somehow extract a sound effect from a brsar? This could be extremely useful for porting sound packs over other characters for use with module editing if it is.
I have 64 bit too. You can still run smashbox on it to find the information you need for sawndz. As for previewing the sounds themselves, this method works nicely:
Then you just have to use smashbox to find out which of these is which wave file and then preview them in brawlbox. It's time consuming, but unless somebody has an actual list of them all that's probably the only way to do them.
Also, with the latest version of sawndz you don't really have to worry about time limits on sfx anymore. There's an even newer version coming out soon that should be able to handle them even better though.
ps i had a freezing glitch it was i was doing dash attack with cape on the corner of final destination against samus and something frooze
Happened to me a couple of times too, both times after using the cape dash attack, but on different stages and against different characters. Not sure exactly what causes it, but it seems to be pretty rare though, considering how much I've used Mario.
