Title! I'm freaking out! I had a LOT and I mean a LOT of Character/Stage/Music/Menu hacks in addition to like 20 HBC Apps! It just deleted itself for no reason! All SD Recovery tools I've found only recover traditional image (JPG, PNG, etc.) and music (MP3, WAV, etc.) files! I need a recovery tool that is free and can recover all my files! If you can help me on this, I'll rep you if there is a way on this forum and... well, there's not much I can do but please help me!!!

Not much. I left it jacked in my laptop, which was off the entire time. When I unplugged it and put it on my Wii, the HBC apps didn't show, so I thought my wii was glitching or something. then I turned on my Laptop and plugged in the SDCard and it was empty. :/

so if it really is empty, no files there, fully accessable but nothing on it, there's nothing you can do, is it?
I had an sd card that nothing could read which was working before. I managed to retrieve all the files from it.
If that's how it is for you too I might know a program that could help but if the sd card is empty you can't do anything I think...

From now on, back up your SD cards, USB drives, and anything that is or isn't used for Brawl hacking.  My dog ruined my USB drive with my homebrew apps by sitting on the laptop and bending the USB drive.

It's empty. I'm slowly redownloading all of my old files.

I have a good recovery tool, and it's portable, so you don't need even installing it. Just don't make a move to the SD or you definitely will lose everything. I'll get home in 2 hours or so and I'll look for that tool and upload it to mediafire.
