game freezes when I select sonic when no mods were added

Okay for some reason when i pick sonic it freezes. Nomally it would be the textures or the mods put on him, but no its not. I've had this sonic working before with the normal things i had attached to him, but now everytime I pick him and select a stage the whole game freezes, whats up with that? If anyone  can help me out let me know

So wait, are you using any hacks on Sonic when you select him? Like, moveset hacks, animation hacks or texture hacks?

its texture hacks, but they worked perfectly fine before, i dunno why it freezes when I use him o-o

If i were you just double check like Take one off but keep it saved on your computer if it still freezes put it back in and remove another try a little bit of trial and error

alright well this time i deleted everything i had attached to sonic, and it still freezes for some reason <,<

do you choose the same stage every time? It might be the stage or the opponent you are selecting

Hm well opponents normally on random let me check if its just the stage.

sorry for double posting. So I tried playing on diffrent stages and picked characters I know that do work, but its just sonic; sonic is the only one who doesn't work for some reason.

Did you try loading brawl from the disc channel and playing brawl normally?  If it froze there then your data might be corrupt or something like that.

Well i completely erased my brawl folder on my sd card and put in a diffrent one, everythigns all fixed
