    So I got to testing the stage, and things look nice so far. Though I don't know what this stage is based on. ;-;

I like how you added collisions to the ropes.

    Suggestions:
-Make the rope able to fall through and make the rope collisions slightly wider.
-Make the background a bit darker.
-See if you can animate some sprite cars on the road part of the background.
-See if you can animate those rags that are on the middle rope.
-Maybe make the ceiling border slightly lower.

The stage (the background at least) is based on this game:

Top Gear (SNES) - Part 1: USA

    Specifically the first stage.

The stage itself is based on what I think feels right and fitting. I wanted to make it look like some sort of floating mechanical garage.

    - I was wondering which would be best, to make it fallthrough or not. In the end, fallthrough makes a little more sense, since, originally, I didn't intend to make it possible to stand in the ropes at all, just to grab to it.
    - I'm not sure about making it darker, I think it could kill a bit of either the desert feel or the likeness to the original.
    - I was considering this. I'm still deciding, though.
    - At least the bigger one will be animated, if I can manage to get it to work like I want it to.
    - It has Final Destination's boundaries, so I don't think it really needs changing... If anything, I'd make it slightly higher.

Thanks for playing it, I'll take all feedback in consideration when I release the final version!

    Here's a new picture!

I was expecting this in the poll :v

The stage is nearly done... just minor touch-ups left on some background aspects of it. Some animating left to do, a couple of textures... And that's all.

    More previews!

The stage is nearly done. I have been sleeping quite early because I've been feeling body aches. Pretty much all that is left is some minor shadow touchups for an interesting detail. I've been messing with the textures and I think I found a result which pleases me. Overall, as you guys can see on the pictures above, I am extremely satisfied with how unique it looks (and plays). The rag is already animated, but I plan on maybe making the animation a bit more fluid. Also, I think I might be exaggerately close to hit the cap filesize. Hopefully with the touchups I plan it will work out just fine.
    Hopefully Cheesy

EDIT: I'm pretty much finished with the stage now! Mewtwo2000 is helping me with a minor problem that came by the end of it. I could release it as is, and I'm sure 99,9% of the people would not be able to notice what I intend to add, but I just can't go without making it as good as I can. Grin

As for what I'll be working on next, I hope this works as a tip...

    The sun is being praised?

Definitely not a time to have a broken AC

EDIT: So! I've finished 2 stages now. Both are ready for release.

One of them is the Top Gear stage I've showcased multiple times during development. It turned out really well - I dare say it's the most professional looking stage I've ever made, could very well have been an official representation of the stage for Smash Bros. Right now, A Bloody Canadian is preparing a video preview so that I can release it. Expect to see it soon!

The other one is something I've been working on since 2010. Tinkering, little by little, with a lot of trial and error. And only today I've been able to completely finish it, and exactly like I had in mind. I'll give more details on it soon!

Gonna have to post here to apologize... I'm not able to get that video preview anytime soon. I honestly don't know what could be causing my capture card to not detect any source. I did everything I can to get it to work, but I don't think it'll be happening anytime soon.

If anything happens, I'll let you know, but for now, it's better to find somebody else.

    It is! 100% compatible.

Keep in mind, though, that while replacing it is okay on offline play, it will desynch on Project M if played Wi-Fi unless both players have the same stage.

So! As I said before, I have a new stage almost ready for release!

The preview video is currently being set... but what can I tell you about it already?

Basically, this stage is a competitive-like version of an stage that already existed in Brawl, everyone loved it, but it just wasn't fit for competitive battling. Like SJS' made a version of Mushroomy Kingdom, or Project M Backroom made their own versions of Green Hill Zone and Rumble Falls.

I wonder if you guys can guess what it is?

The Top Gear stage looks great! I love the talking stereo and the ropes add a nice touch to the stage. I was secretly hoping to see a few cars driving by in the background but I can't have it all I guess Tongue Anyway, this is going right onto my sd card.

    My new stage was released!

    STATIONARY DELPHINO

I started this stage back in 2010. But from them until now, I had tried and tried to make it work the way I wanted to, but STPM is a total pain to figure out usually, and even more when the stage is coded to change within a certain number of frames.

I admit that I've tried and stopped many times, the long experimenting with STPM by trial-and-error, by myself, was mostly frustrating, STPM data research was mostly dead, so maybe waiting on for an improvement of the programming scene was nearly my only chance of making it possible...

However, after four years of trying for a while then giving it up, trying again then giving it up, then repeating this process over and over, now it's finally released! Stationary Delphino is a stage meant to fulfill your competitive needs.
