this is basically just a thread on things that would be interesting to hack/edit. It would be similar to psa or something..
interesting things to edit:
cpu lvl
items
-animation/movement(green shell,barrel,bombomb)
-gfx, simply changing them
-hitbox, same as above
-collisions, (box on wheels...forgot name =P)
*above was basically about editing items like any char. In psa.
stages
-effects
-gravity change
-time manip.
-reverse stage direction / reversed controls
-hitboxes(pokemon/g&w stage/pictochat)
-wind/slipper/moving floor/water(pokemon stadium)(pictochat-wind)(pikmin)
-transforming
-breakable parts(luigi mansion)
-(pokemon stadium/pictochat)
-player interactive parts
-models
-hurtboxes(shyguys on yoshi stage, rocket on pictochat)
-?(springs that popup on pictochat) (wario stage effects)
pokemon/assist trophy
-basically just editing them like any char. In psa...
I can't think of anything else that would be interesting to hack/edit so....yeh... These are just my ideas on what I would like to edit. If anyone wants to post ideas on stuff to edit that atm isn't possible, go ahead.

*i know nothing about stages...sorry if I posted stuff you can already change

DEFINITELY GRAVITY! I mean, would you love to fight on a spherical stage that you can walk around completely? Or fight upside down? OR RUN UP FREAKIN WALLS? O.O

And you should be able to break people through walls and smash them into and through floors. But that would be very hard to hack.

I just want to Get Firaga'd into the air and use my aerial jump to get on the wall, run up the wall, as cloud gets on it, and Shield Break him onto the ceiling.  Then hit him down and use Critical Hit straight downwards. |

I've always wanted a CPU level that cheats the system. Like a random item spawn right where and when the cpu needs it to combo moves and such

Ive always wanted a cpu that fights against u and then copies ur way of playing, sort of like fighting urself, that would be amazing.
but that will require the cpu to rewrite its own code.

I think fireking220 wants a more robust coding for self-learning AI, which I wouldn't mind either.
But what I'd really like to see is a 3D Mr. Game & Watch.

That would be awesome! "Super Smash Bros Mario Galaxy" I'd like to see multiple sources of gravity, where you jump from planet to planet. And then of course, black holes too. |
