    Allow me to show you my latest, greatest creation, Toon Zelda!



    Yes, it looks good from here, but I'm having an issue. For some reason, either by my own error or by one in the script, I can't seem to export it onto the model so that the changet take place. I hear that the hair and hat mods will goof up, but i'd still need it exported. So this is sort of a show off and a plea for help. If someone could export this from 3DSMax I would greatly appreciate it.

    vertex hacking has its limits, I think you might have over exceeded that limit.


    model looks good though, I just think you'll never get it working.

    sorta happened to me, with lightning on ike. the transformation was too extreme. I'm going to have to hack the rigging format, to tweak how the vertices bind during animation. just to hide my own failure to pre-plan.

    thats what I thought, but it actually causes animation issues.. anyway yeah a hat wont cause the world to end. that is most likely do-able

    See what they did was rename his hat bones, making them static. That goofs up some animations and effect placement, but comes with the desired character look. I had the same problem with Azula, but I decided to leave her hair movable.

    Also, all I really did was edit the hair's shape, hat's shape, and elongated and widened the tunic bottom. I'm not sure that I stepped over a boundry or anything.

    Yay, a vertex I requested is being made! anyway, I hate to hear that you're having problems. If it helps at all, I tried to edit T.Link's hat and hair before Mariokart64n's method, and I got hidden vertices, so it was pretty much un-editable.
    I don't know of any way I could help, but I do hope you find a solution to fix this.

    If you figure out the prob, you are going to do Toon Sheik, right?

    Hmm...you have a point there. I guess I'll fix that after it's ported...

    @Plasmakirby: The vertices are lost in a "cloud", and are rather difficult to lcate, but someone has done it, there's a Capless Toon Link floating around out there somewhere.

    I hope you get a way to fix this, cause I'd love to see it done, along with a Toon Sheik

    Now Toon Sheik shouldn't be super hard. See someone's made a Capless Toon Link, which I could easily edit to look like Sheik.
