im having the same problem with the beeping except i didnt mod anything and i cant even go into the stage selection screen what i did for the solution though is go into rnadom stage select only select the stages you want and it will randomize it and no beeping of course this limits your choice so it may be a temporary solution also with my experience in this method if your only going to choose melee stages then choose 1 brawl or it wont work =D

if u are, music replaces cant be done, and u cant use ANY stage that requires rel file...

But I did find this page, I dunno if it'll work or anything, but it says info about a code of which Phantom Wings created.. http://board.gscentral.org/showthread.php/30533-Super-Smash-Bros.-Brawl-RSBE01?p=156501 That's the forum it's in, and since i'm a total nub at quoting and such, it is #22 of all the posts (number of the post is found on the top right of each reply or whatever) Sorry if i'm not clear at all  |

Well i'm pretty sure I got it, otherwise most of the mods I use wouldn't be working, right? But just to make sure, could someone run me by how I would go about changing that chain of numbers and stuff into the file? I know there are tutorials everywhere, but I can't follow Any of them.. Sorry i'm just such a dam noob with all of this :/

dude just download the code manager at the Total noobs hacking guide its below the gecko stuff and then copy the code and open the code manager ( you must open the file with a skull) then you have 2 put game ID RSBE01 is 4 brawl
then where it says game name you put brawl
then you must copy the numbers and put the same name of the code where it says name code then.... lol you must store the data then add a code then you mark the code and export 2 GTC and done!
If the that doesnt work idk whats your problem and 4 the brstm file
you must have the file like this
Example:
X01.brstm
i had the lost wood stage hack and it works good
and stop saying your a total noob lol
i remember when i didnt know stuff lol and i wasnt all negative
you will laugh when your hacks work i know dude it happened 2 me i couldn t get stages and stuff 2 work and i just read the Hacking guide and i get it all so..... read! lol

Well I followed the guide EXACTLY. And now when I open the Cheat Code Manager on brawl and select the txt code, it says 'Empty File?'. And when I start up Brawl from Gecko OS, it says there are no SD files/codes. I followed the guide Exactly.
First I opened Code Manager, named the file RSBE01, made the game name Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Selected 'create a new code' and called it Phantom Wings, Copy and pasted the code corresponding to NTSC-U (File Patch Code v3.5.1: [Phantom Wings]) into the Code Contents box, Selected File and saved it as a TXT file in the txt codes folder on my SD card, then selected 'Export to GTC' and chose the 'codes' folder on my SD card..
I don't know why it didn't show up on either Gecko OS or Cheat Code Manager :/

hmm i can set up the sd card directories for u tomorrow i'll leave texts files in the folders too to help. i'll make it easy just download and place in the sd card if u tell me the codes i can make those too
