Hello. I downloaded a file that is supposed to replace the intro video, and so I would like to know where to place it. I also want to change the picture before the main menu (press any button to start). Again, I have both files, but I am not sure where they should go in my SD Card. Thank you.

well, there's 2 files that deal with the intro...
one of them being a .thp,
    and the other being sc_title.pac

    the thp goes in .../RSBE/pf/movie/*
    the pac goes in .../RSBE/pfmenu2/*

I believe the logo is in sc_title...
    but I'm not for certain...

can't get on my cpu to look :/

you have been through a lot of hassle. I've watched every topic you posted on this, and most of them seemed to disintegrate gradually.
But the coolest part was that you didn't stop working on it despite that.

just saying, you will need riivolution for the thp vid to work.
The logo should work just fine though on Gecko.

yeah i was really upset too to find out about the thp stuff.
I haven't tried Riivolution though. To me, it's starts to cross the line from simply editing Brawl files, to completely copying them and using them without a disc.
You could argue since you bought the disc it's fine to copy it and use Riivolution without the disc, but it's up to you.

    already trying that idea Tongue

    but yea...

I don't plan to use Riivolution...
I am however, trying to shrink brawl to use alot less space
    (not compressing)

1: get rid of PCS hacks
(these are really not needed since the PAC has the same data)
    2: shrink PAC files
(this will be explained a little later)
    3: delete certain PAC files
(some files (such as effects) are just copied and placed in a new folder)

the finished brawl (excluding thp's) should take less than 1.5 GB of space
why didn't nintendo think to do this Tongue

    anyways...
    the shrinking process:
right now I've only discovered this with verts...
    brawl verts are 32bit '00 00 00 00'
which can be shrunk to 16bit '00 00'
(a big differance when you have alot of verts)
there are also alot of other things that use large formats...
I believe faces are the same...

    also...
if you didn't know, Melee is entirely 16bit Smiley
