    Hello people!
I have just discovered a way to use Riivolution file replacement on my 4.3U v2 Wii. Now I can play my hack in a real wii and see how my works are going in a "real" level, not emulated.
So, I'll tell you how to get it to work. It's very simple Cheesy

    Step 1
Download Smash Stack: http://wiibrew.org/w/images/4/4e/Smashstack.zip (Thanks to comex, to make all this work!).
After, backup your Wii SD data (to prevent data loss) and rename your "private" folder to "private.bak", so Wii and Brawl will not load it.
Extract the private folder to your SD root.

    Step 2
Download Riivolution 1.04: http://rvlution.net/riivolution.zip, extract it to the SD root.
Now open the riivolution folder in your SD, and copy the file "boot.elf" to the SD root.

    Step 3
Grab any Smash Brawl template and put it on you riivolution folder.
I'm using this patch template: http://rvlution.net/riivolution/images/a/ac/SSBBtemplate.xml
If you'd like to use that one, you'll need to create a folder called "ssbb" on the SD root, and put all your desired hack files in there, without folders.
Example: Menu 1 music goes to /ssbb/X02.brstm, not /ssbb/sound/brstm/X02.brstm

    Step 4
With all files ready, now it's time to load it! Start SSBB disc without the SD on your wii and go to Vault.
Warning: Make sure that you don't have any custom stage on wii console.
Now go back from Stage Builder and put your SD on your Wii, and then, go to Stage Builder again.

You'll see a Twilight Princess patch screen with lot's of information and then, a pink screen for a few seconds. The screen will become black and it'll take you to Riivolution screen.

    That's all!

Not exactly needed, but regardless, it can help the new hackers out a bit.

I haven't installed Homebrew Channel, because I don't want any troubles with it and nintendo... So I found this way to use riivolution again, and I thought it would be useful for more people.

If you do have the Homebrew Channel already installed, you can launch Riivolution that way as well.

I'm assuming that the private folder you tell us to rename  is the one with smash stack? If so, should anything else be in it?

    Well, not quite...
I was trying to tell you to rename the already created folder (created by wii) in your SD, with replay, album and stage data, and put the smash stack private folder as "private".
Smash Stack only work if you don't have any other custom stages.

This was really helpful thanks. I'd become interested in Brawl modding, but didn't want to risk homebrew after it bricked my old wii.

Steps 1 and 2 are the installation process. Step 3 is adding files into riivolution. Step 4 is where you open and use riivolution.

From the root of the SD card the folder structure goes like this:

    <SD card slot goes here>:\private\wii\app\RSBE\pf

In the pf folder you put in your hacks, I advise you read the noob's guide though.
