Wait... so you had the correct names, too? If you did have the correct names... All I have to say is to switch to Riivolution.

Riivolution sounds hard to setup though..

Riivolution, man. It's what I use and it patches a lot more stuff than Gecko does. and it doesn't require codes to replace costumes. That I did.

There is a guide somewhere on here where all you have to do is dump the textures, sounds, music, etc. in just one folder for riivolution. I'll find it for ya if you want me to.

Okay... Let's make sure you have everything set straight.
- It's in Sd:/private/wii/app/rsbe/pf/fighter/mario/FitMario00.pcs - have the latest File Patch Code - codes in Sd:/codes/RSBE01.gct, or alternatively Sd:gecko/data/codes/RSBE01.gct - codes/ocarina enabled in Gecko - SD card 2GB or less
If you got all that set, then I don't know what to tell you. Maybe go with Riivolution. Which I know how to use too just in case you need help with that. : /

Could you? And for some reason, if you look here. http://rvlution.net/riivolution/images/5/5c/SSBBfiles.xmlIt won't let me download that, even though it says I have to in the guide. I'll need help with riivolution. *SIGH*

Assuming you have an SD card 2gb or less, let's move on. http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=15145.0Riivolution guide. Since you have Homebrew installed, skip the Stack Smash Part. SKIP STEP 1 AND 4

I wouldn't use that one anyways...
This is the one I use: http://www.mediafire.com/?uqoyx7e3u1hjceo
Extract the contents of the .rar. Put what's inside in the "riivolution" folder on your SD card, if you don't have one then make one.
Codes go in SD:/private/wii/app/rsbe/pf/rsbe01.gct. You DO NOT need the file patch code with riivolution, this is just if you want to use other codes.
Everything else is setup the same as if you were using Gecko when using hacks.

Check your settings for Gecko OS, since that does play a role in getting your codes to work.
