I use Smash Stack, and sometimes when I go to Stage Builder to load Gecko OS, instead of taking me to the black, coded screen, it just sits there. If I attempt to exit or click on anything, the game will semi-freeze -- animations and music still play, but the controls are frozen. I have to reboot my Wii and go back; it always works after that. A few times though I had to reboot twice in a row. This is an extremely annoying issue and a big time-waster, so I'd appreciate it if anyone can help me resolve it. Here is a screenshot of the screen it keeps me in until I reboot. The empty gray box with the circle in it is Stack Smash/Gecko OS. Not supposed to see it for even a second. |

Wait, if you already have Homebrew installed, what do you need Stack Smash for?

I do the same thing. You can run gecko through the stage builder without homebrew.

This might sound crazy but I use to get the all the time, specially when I tested out my hacks in-game.
But ever since I now have a background image for my Gecko OS loader, it never messes up.

Hmm...this is quite brain-racking. so how exactly do you use this method?? I usually run into these problems if I add new hacks. I have a background for mine, too. |

BBrawl comes premade for smash stack. Its simply the best resource for it anywhere, most of the B- team use Configurable USB (stinking pirates!) or homebrew. Not one other B- community member uses it that i know of. They just added it as an afterthought and for passing around at tourney's.
