im guessing this problem has something to do with Smash Stack, Gecko can be a little problamatic with it.

    My suggestions:

    1. If u feel really brave, downgrade your wii and use BannerBomb or any other useable mod

    2. If that scares you, switch from Gecko to Riivolution, it does the same thing as Gecko, except its faster and can replace more things.

Nope I'm not hacking into my Wii and risk frigging it up. It's bad enough I got a message saying my system files where corrupt while trying to install Smash Stack. God knows what will happen if I hard-mod my Wii...

Well I am a dumbass with this stuff lol. Seriously though; I am. Took me an unbelievable long time to get Smash Stack to work, and I still make some retarded noob mistakes with it today.

Well, to load Stack Smash, you must use a GC controller.

    That is all.

I do use a GC controller. Platinum Wave Bird at that.

By the way this only really happens after I edit a file in my SD card or add a hack or anything. I'm experiencing this problem again as I type this. This will be my second reboot now.

No you don't, I use a normal wiimote just fine. And no its simply that you are using B- set up as balanced so it works with stack smash. And I find it elegant, not to mention you can take it to your friends house.
And it violates your EULA (user liscense agreement) But it leaves no trace whatsoever, So I recommend using it with bad power full juju like Chuck Norris psa. If your wii dies, Nintendo has no evidence of hacks and if they update it, it still works.

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT, EVER DOWNGRADE YOUR WII.

....unless of course you want your Wii to be a paperweight.

    Yes, agreed.
The reason I use SS is so i never have to deal with updates, its unpatchable.

Yeah. I use it because it's safer and, like you said, no traces will be left behind, won't ruin your Wii, and you can take it to a friend's. Only downside is it has so many limits.

It only has the limits of gecko and the lack of custom stages, but stuff on the vault is better
