    Just my two cents. But  I think you should edit his proportions to be more like Paper Marios because at the moment he's still just a flat Mario. You need to make him shorter, scale down his legs... etc. Should be easily doable with animations.

    Won't work since G&W can only have 1 texture.  Look at all the G&W texture hacks and you'll notice that they're either a single colour, a repeated texture all across the body, or an emerald texture.

    The shape of Paper Mario would probably be possible, however the texture wouldn't be.  And even then working with him in Brawlbox is a nightmare (you have to see it to know what I'm talking about).  It's quite shocking really.

    Basically you're saying it is Armageddon in a nutshell to actually edit G&W in terms of models and sometimes textures. Why do some textures in the Vault take up all textures?

    Because of the fact that they are emerald textures.

    You could use Barry and Dashell Pixl's from super paper mario as attacks, and possibly slim as a taunt.  With Barry mario does a quick spin and does damage, while invincible (like a counter), Dashell would just let him dash forward (possibly doing damage to whomever he runs into), and with slim, mario turns sideways making him invisible and invincible until you turn it off (can be used as a taunt, being temporary of course, and probably not with invincibility so as not to seem cheap).
