I load it up from the stage builder, it gets to the black screen but it says it can't find boot.elf, USBGecko or codes, even though I have all of them. I'm pretty sure I have them in their right folders, too.
On my SD card root I have the following folders: 'brawlmods', 'riivolution' and 'private'.
In my 'brawlmods' folder is 'brawlminus' and 'texture' folders. The 'brawlminus' folder has the GCT and textures has all the 'pf' stuff.
In my 'riivolution' folder I have "boot.elf", "icon.png", "meta.XML", "modlauncher.XML" and "readme.txt".
So what's the problem here? What did I do wrong?

Isn't the boot.elf for Riivo supposed to be on the root of your SD if you're using Smash Stack?

I don't know the guide Fliptocat gave me said all of the Riivolution stuff needs to be in a folder called 'riivolution' on your SD root, and that's just what I did. No one ever told me if I had to do it differently with Smash Stack. Anyway, I was just about to try having all the Riivolution stuff on my root before you answered. I'll come back with an answer after I go test it right now. |

Ok it works now but none of my hacks get loaded. It's just normal Brawl.... Also nothing appeared on the Riivolution menu, either. Only option I had was to launch the game.

Anyways, I'm not sure about that. It could be a large number of problems. Maybe the XML needs to be on the root as well?
I tried but never could get Riivo to work, it always said it worked but nothing happened, so I switched back to Gecko. Not my area of expertise, sorry. I'm sure there's someone who uses Riivo that can help.

I have BionicSonic's XML and an XML called "meta" on my root. Riivo works it just doesn't load any codes. Oh. I see. Fliptocat was the one who suggested I should use it. |

Otherwise..... lemme see exactly what's in the riivolution folder. wait, I have an idea. Do you have a folder called config the the riivo folder?

Well I tried it again and Riivolution's menu is still empty. I don't know what "meta" is for -- it came with my download. No I have no configs. I should've known that's what it could've been, but I just thought you said Riivo doesn't need those. Also, it has to be a folder? Not the actual config.dat/config.txt? |

Wait, this is weird... I just looked in my SD card and it moved all my Riivo stuff off my root into my riivolution folder and gave me a "config" folder with "RSBE" in it. |

Can't you just use the HackMii Installer to install the HBC? That's pretty much the only time the Smash Stack hack is used.

How are you loading it? I don't think it supports USB Loaders, if that's what you're using.
Wait, one more thing.... Do you see a little... I don't know how to describe it, it's a number on the top of the screen that lets you scroll through XMLs..... see anything like that? :/
