    SanDisk brand SD cards tend to be the best ones to use with the Wii.

    u can also try reformating it to fat32 not all sd cards i've bought  in the proper format straight out of the package

    Shouldn't the SD card's file system be FAT?  That's what my SD card is set at.

    That has to be an SDHC card that you're using.  Standard SD cards almost never use more than 2 GB.

    I don't think the problem has to do with directories, i think it might be a problem with my wii. If i use ocarina or older versions of gecko, it says "sd error".
