How long do you usually spend? For me, it really depends on the size, i usually spend a lot more time on stages than my characters. Usually 1/2-3 hours, depends on how detailed i want it to be, how hard it is to make, how many tgas it has, ect.

About the same. Usually have it done within a day.
Exceptions being... that Cookie Land stage, paper and I worked on that for a while.

it takes several hours for me... toon link dimentio took me over 2 weeks to make between editing all the tga's, having Power Marshall test it, send me pictures, and then i make revisions based on that. plus the two sided face took forever because i had to do that for every one of his 400 mouth textures (more like 6). but other than that, a good 2 hours for characters and 3 or more for stages half hour for songs!

A lot of thinking goes into my Cursed textures, where everything should be placed, is that too much, etc. so I have them done in about 2 days since i do them in increments (jacket and pants 1 day holster boots and head 2nd day) other textures usually 2-3 hours. A highly deatiled one can take me quite a bit of time to get everything just right cause even the slightest mishap can tick meoff even if the can't see it from a distance.

It can vary from just minutes to around an hour for me. Mostly it's because most of my textures are just recolors.

1-3 hours for me mainly, though stages can take quite a while longer. When I still had 3dsMax it sped me up quite a bit too.

Textures usually take 1-3 hours for me with characters. I haven't started editing stages yet. My longest texture to make was my Jake the Reaver texture. It took me 2 days to make!

Originally a solid 4 hours just to make a simple texture. @_@ But after learning the ins-and-outs of programs (such as Photoshop), and with the help of ASH, no more than an hour or two.
Melee, from scratch, a good four hours, perhaps longer... Quite tedious, quite tedious.

Depends what characters. If it's Jigglypuff or Kirby, 30 minutes. Anything else, hours-days.

I spend roughly 6 hours on textures for characters, just to make sure everything is spot-on. The Peach's Castle Stage however, took over 50 working hours to complete. Not one TGA when unscathed. XD

30 minutes - 1 hour for a Kirby texture 1 - 2 hours for a simple character, like Ness or Lucas it can go to 4 hours for more complicated characters, like C. Falcon or Link.

depends on the character. doesn't take me too long for a kirby/jiggs texture (about 40-50 minutes) and just a little bit more for others. but if it has a whole bunch of +2 or +1 textures, (like Toon Link) maybe 2 hours or so...

Right now I'm working on an Onett stage texture and lets just say, with what I have planned Will take hours to complete. Probably 4-5 non-stop and if nothing goes wrong. I don't like the 95+ Files just to make Onett.
Don't even get me started on how many files it take to get all the individual stages of Smashville.
But for character it usually takes me a good 1-2 hours to make it how I want it. If its a Kirby or Jigglypuff , I just lol and crank them out in 10-20 mins flat. (If its a simple texture)

Depends on the texture.
A Hanenbow edit didn't even take me five minutes. However, my Hydrocity Zone texture took about 8 hours (excluding in-between breaks).
