do any other codes work? besides the file patch. if so then it could be a hooking issue or that u lack a gameconfig.txt file otherwise its a gecko issue

ok i forgot to mention i also have the newest version of wii like 4.3....you think that could be the problem? ive heard new versions of gecko wont work with that wii update

depends on ur wii the lu64 wii's can't be downgraded or u'll brick. and downgrading is already dangerous as it is i'd just use riivo it works with 4.3 if i remember right |

is lu64 the black wii? cause thats what i have. and i dont mind riivolution actually...but the stage expansion code doesnt work with it  |

it does work with riivo u need to add the extra stages in ur xml file its easy just copy and paste the xml paths in there i'll find them later for u

yes? but when i put the 2.0 code expansion in it gives me a bunch of extra stages like battlefield and yoshi island and few others are repeated over and over. there are no blank stage marks like there should be and on top of that some of the original stages are missing like final and smashville and some others..i followed the steps right it just wont work? am i missing a vital code? and zig could you explain just a little bit about how the xml paths like there suppose to work so when i ask ill know a little bit of what im talking about and thanks for all your help man. i really appreciate it

i was looking at some of the threads and i think SmashClash said that it worked once he put in the file replacement code v 3.5 in his gct. apparently he said it works for both gecko and riivolution.
not testing it though since i don't actually need that many stages yet.
