    After about 3 weeks I've finnally finished shadow marth.

    Basically shadow marth is marth with darkness type attacks.
    Almost all of his attacks have been changed.



    B ATTACKS
    Standard B - Dark Magic - Marth summon's a ball of darkness, this ball has mild knockback and attacks fast for 1 - 12 damage.

    UP B - Hover - Marth dissapears and hovers upwards, like snakes UP B.

    SIDE B - Duo Slash - Marth attacks twice, one attack stops the character for a bit and does 5 damage, the second attack has a huge knockback, moves vary in the air/on the ground.

    DOWN B - Surprise Attack - Marth jumps into the shadows, for a bit he is invulerable, after a bit he lunges out of the darkness.

    FINAL SMASH - Corruption - Shadow Marth calls forth the power of the shadows to corrupt the players on the field. The attack does mild damage but freezes characters for 10 seconds.

    A ATTACKS
    A - For this attack i've sped it up really fast, holding A goes to attack12, then to attack11. This attack is great for comboes.

    Side A - This attack is slower, but attacks with 3 projectiles that do 3 each.

    Up A - This attack has very minimal knockback, it has a bigger hitbox and afterwards, characters at the tip of Marth's sword will get extra damage.

    Down A - This attack hasn't changed much, i've changed the animation and the knockback.

    A DASH - This attack has a huge knockback and deals huge damage, the fallback is that it is really slow and leaves marth vunerable if you miss.

    A Air and A Air up have been sped up 2x, but damaged lowered.

    A Air Down is no longer a spike attack, i've sped it up though.

    A Air Forward is now Marth's spike attack (seems more suitable).

    A Air Backwards hasn't changed except for the flag. (couldn't think of anything).

    All the S3 A attacks now can be interrupted faster for combos.


    OTHER CHANGES
    Marth now has a glowing purple sword.
    Marth is a lot slower.
    Marth jumps lower, but has better air movement.
    Marth's entry has been changed.
    Marth's A taunt is now his old taunt.



    Basically that is it.
    Anyone wanna give me ideas for a next project?

    Nice. The side B looks tight. And does the final smash still make them freeze after they're revived?      And dash A has a little too much knockback.

    just a few probs. jumps seem a bit too low. dash attack is strong, but not worth the lag.some hitboxes seem too small. B might need a little more range. otherwise, its great!

    Great Moveset!!!! I just want a few things to be changed.Marth is way too freakin slow and i dont like his jump much if you made him faster and jump higher i would higher i would highly appreciate it,im sure others would too

    I hope you don't mind but, i'm going to use part of shadow marths final smash code for time mage zelda's final smash. Wish i had found out how to do this first, now its going to look like i'm copying you. I'm going to think of it as an inspiration though. The effects of his final smash are perffect for zelda. and again sorry if it looks like im copying.

    yeah, i'd have to agree with this. Holding A and Up+B seems to be the more noticable ones that needs better hitboxes. I'm not sure if I remember any other moves that should have better hitboxes though, I tested him either last night or two nights ago.

    Wow ... that's really an amazing moveset. I just love this character.  Laugh

    I'll try a step-by-step analysis :

    B ATTACKS
    Standard B - Dark Magic - Range a little too short, I think.
    UP B - Hover - Seems perfect to me. Thankfully he has this to compensate his shorty jumps.
    SIDE B - Duo Slash - Very good. Simple, and classy.
    DOWN B - Surprise Attack - Very interesting move. I think the invisible time is a bit too long, though.
    FINAL SMASH - Corruption - Epic. Perfect. Really cool. Nothing else to say.  Cool

    A ATTACKS
    A - Nice. Gotta be pretty close, but considering the speed of the attack, it looks fair.
    Side Smash A - Good. The projectiles are a nice touch. =)
    Up Smash A - Weird ... It's even quite hard to trap opponents on the sword ...
    Down Smash A - Ooh ... sweet. I like the hit on the back at the beginning of the attack.
    A DASH - Epic. But leaves you vulnerable too long, even considering the damage it deals. Maybe add a little more cinematic hitlag ? To make it even more epic.  Cheesy

    A Air and A Air up - Best of his aerials, I think. But the Neutral Air has got strangely narrow hitboxes ...
    A Air Down - Much better move. More useful.
    A Air Forward - Good idea making it spike ... but again,the range is a bit poor. Maybe enlarge it a little, but without the spike on the tip of the blade ?
    A Air Backwards - Can't tell the difference. Tongue

    All the S3 A attacks - Good, but there seems to be a hitbox problem with the Up-Tilt ... I can't seem to properly hit the enemy with about a third of these ...

    OTHER CHANGES
    Marth now has a glowing purple sword. -
    Marth is a lot slower. - I think you should speed up a little bit his running speed. It is really really slow ... Possibly the slowest of the game ? idk  Undecided
    Marth jumps lower, but has better air movement. - Grah ! He jumps so low I can't even notice the change in air movement! Please, could you make his first "fully pressed" jump just a little higher ?  Embarrassed
    Marth's entry has been changed. -
    Marth's A taunt is now his old taunt. - ?? What ?


    Very very good moveset, overall. It's just kinda bothering to have a combo, speedy character that can't seem to reach his targets, because of sluggishness and very short jumps. And some weird hitboxes.
