    Yeah.

first of all, stick with the vgmstream plugin
ok here are the steps to convert
Open the "Preferences" dialog (press Ctrl-P)
    On the left, select "Plug-ins/Output"
On the right, select "Nullsoft Disk Writer plug-in"
Click on "Configure" to choose a folder where you want to store the WAV file(s)
Click on "Close" to close the Preferences
Click on any one of the brstm files. Instead of playing, it will turn into a .wav

Also, if u want to go straight to mp3, go to the plugin page on the site (http://www.winamp.com/plugins/browse/7), and download one of the mp3 output plugins

    By the way, shaddup.

    ...Winamp can do that? O_o

I need to test this, see if the quality compares to brstm->dsp->wav conversions... That would make my Muramasa rip so much easier.

Um... I posted this in some other guys topic that asked a similar question mentioning the in_cube plug-in. I guess you don't remember. Tongue

The converting works for me, but you will have to switch the options back if you still want to listen to your .brstm.

Is there another program I could use instead of Winamp??  WinAmp doesn't work on my computer.

Or maybe I don't read every single topic in this forum? >_>

@Cat: Uh... I don't think so. Not that way, anyway. The vgmstream plug-in only works with Winamp.  However, there is a manual method.

Grab Androu's tool and copy everything in the Tools folder to a new folder along with the brstm you want to convert (or just put the brstm in the Tools folder). Copy the two files in the other folder named "Copy these files to your system folder" to your System32 folder (you'll need admin powers to do this).

Now go into the new folder and run command prompt (there should be a shortcut in there).

    Enter this line: revb.exe --extract songname.brstm name.dsp nameR.dsp

This will create two dsp files from the brstm with whatever names you enter.

    Now enter this: dspadpcm.exe -d name.dsp

This will get you a wav file with the same name as the dsp. Do it again, but with nameR instead of name.

You will have two wav files, one of the left channel and one of the right channel. Open both in Audacity or Goldwave or whatever and combine them into one stereo file.

Why on earth would you remember that?

    Seems sorta useless.

I remember saying something very similar to this.... screw it, that thread is probably burning in the pit as I type, along with this guy:  :UMUSTDIE:
