Well, of course!... I'm also working on a Smash 4-esque Lucina, but literally all I've done so far is balanced the power through her attacks.
Still, only really need to do 3 taunts and 3 win animations and I'd be done with that, haha.

A few people don't use other animations... Only a few. I'm not in them.

Like I said there's nothing wrong with it.

I was thinking of doing it myself. But I started to lose interest in hacking as of late. I'd like to see how those go too. Sounds like a good thing. You gonna contribute those to CrazyHands PSA?

Yup!... Well, I want to, although it really kind of depends if I can actually get them done...

Yeah... I know that feeling. Well I'm still helping him out. So if you want some help with the animations I can give you some.

Only complicated animation I can think of would be the up taunt (I think it was?)... The rest should be simple enough.

...Now that I think of it, I'll probably need a mask GFX thing. ...Huh.

Yeah... probably. If that new Lucina model comes out soon, maybe we could use that new one and call the mask as an article or something. The Up Taunt was the one where she spins her sword and goes into her CSP pose saying, "Come at me." The Side taunt was where she sheathes it saying, "I can not lose." Then the Down taunt has her putting on her mask. That one is the easiest. Up taunt probably being more difficult with the sword spin.

Do you have Smash for 3DS? A reference would be helpful. I do, and have her unlocked already.

Yup, I have it with me, which will make referencing A LOT easier.
But yeah, the mask taunt, aside from the mask will definitely be the easiest.
Side taunt should also be relatively simple. Depends on if the turning portion doesn't spaz out.

I can handle the turn so it doesn't spaz. Like I did with that spear back air attack you did. Should be easy.

I just remembered she also has her own Shield Breaker and Counter animations.

Hm... Maybe I should also incorperate some of Marth's Smash 4 changes into this, which would automatically make her less clone-ey to Brawl's Marth...

bleh. I'll go with the original plan first, I'll probably update it like that later.

Yeah. Best not to set to high a goal, or you'll never get anything done. If you need some help, or any clean up on things. Just ask, I'll be around.

Currently working through Shield Breaker first.
Moving on to Counter after that.

Edit: Shield Breaker start-up. Doing the grounded animations before I do the aerials


Edit 2: Aaaaaand the base of the charge-up segment... Still need to make it look like an actual charge-up.


Edit 3: Updated the charge-up, although I think it may look too shaky...


Edit 4: TIME TO BREAK SOME SHIELDS! still need to update it but yay.



If there are any touch-ups you want to make Nao-chan, or if you wanted to do aerial versions or whatever lemme know. For now I'm tired as hell and I needs sleep.
