you could probably down-scale one of the textures, and it should work

well, it fixed the freezing problem... but now Ruto just cant grab. just as well, some of the magic animations are distorted and/or misplaced when active

i've tried to fix that issue... with the gfx going to different places... idk whats causing that when the boneID's r the exact same.. ill never understand that.. with ike/marth/zelda/ganon :v

might be the model's unusual characterstics when compared to the base character's. then again, im more of a standard texture modifier, so i wouldnt know too much about that.
